In regards to this being a list of "Top American Cartoons you need to know about". This list beats all bar none.

Other than that, well you'd get an avalanche of biased flaming thrown at you, so I guess that's the only route you could go with such a list.

Man if you're being sarcastic in this list and you are saying all of these cartoons sucked, and you'r saying that Mighty Max sucks then fuck you. I remember running home to see Mighty Max because frankly it is better than most of the cartoons today.

That's what makes this list so memorable. Whether or not any particular show on the list sucks, we all know that every show on that list will have at least a few people who will feel exactly the same way about the show because they remember watching it as a kid.

Most of my friends that are my same age and watched Nickelodeon too don't even remember it because it was on for such a short time.  It was the WORST show.  Sometimes I try to bring it up when I talk about how bad it was and no one even knows what I'm talking about.

That's not the point, the point is that there is someone, at least one person out there, who thinks Butt Ugly Martians is better than most of the cartoons today. From a probability standpoint, there are just too many people out there for that not to be true.

But yeah, I remember watching that show in awe of the idea that characters designed with the least amount of appeal possible could be used as some kind of selling point for the show (It reminds me of Shrek in that respect). I'm not suprised it never did well.

Nobody has anything to say about it because the only thing that he tells us in the actual topic is what everyone already knows about it.

Oh yeah, and even if there is absolutley nobody in the world that likes Butt Ugly Martians, that wasn't my point.
My point was that people like shitty cartoons, and that causes people to make even shittier cartoons. The only reason a show like BUM can exist is because people are actually willing to tolerate (perhaps even enjoy) cartoons that are nearly as shitty as that one.

I guess there's no roundabout way to say it, so I'll tell it to you straight. Shitty cartoons are a cancer on our society.
