for the record, I don't think GW is perfect. I definitely think every forum up there could use work. and there isn't a month that goes by without panda or I saying "goddammit gw blows".
but first off this topic is not about that, and no bled, that doesn't mean their opinions are still just peachy fucking keen and no nightblade, no one was warned for it. then you have the fact that Strangeluv, Twobeers, Nightblade, Bled, the last three are barely active members (none of them have even posted in American Magic), and none of the four really visit those forums.

who are you guys trying to fool? you came in here to shit up the topic. it's a dumb forum awards thing and you still had to get in your jibe about how you don't like to post when you've apparently viewed now defunct forums more than the ones up there.
and do we get a reason for why the forums all blow? at least bled poorly tried to blame me. when panda and I say GW sucks it's usually a commentary on some mass movement of the members, not the forums themselves. if you take the forums for what they are, no they don't suck. compare it to other forums and it's astonishing. as long as they've been mentioned, have you been to the music section on SA? they had to break it in half because the normal members were so fucking bad and the ones with taste wanted somewhere to talk. there's a four page falloutboy topic. here's the opening post, no joke, to their best of 08 topic:
Now that it's December, there's not much left musically for this year. I'm surprised I haven't heard people sum up what they've listened to this year yet in here. So from my list, I've got a few from this year alone. Two of which are Goon albums (Kevin Carafa and The Compromise, both of which were offered for free in GBS).
The Slip gets a nice little push from me seeing as it was free to begin with. Staind's album, however, gets a lot of crap from me because I genuinely loved their last album, but this one was so bland, and where it did change they went goddamn country on me. Other notable albums are The Myraid for being "best you've never heard of", Seven Wiser for "best band you should have checked out while they were still around", Foo Fighters for "Best live 'album'", and Tantric for "Best new sound".

no, gw's forums do not suck compared to other forums. they do not suck compared to what they were, if anything konix has continually improved them with suggestions on how to streamline them. so what's your metric? I can't possibly believe the gw of two years ago was just so much better for your type of posting.
but I'm asking for justification I know I won't get and that Bled will view as derailing (as panda said it's a topic about dumb awards, derails are okay) but that's fine! thats the type of forum I like, one where members don't say "@_@ a litle too blunt..." if someone says "fuck", and I think most people would agree. and it's been that type of forum for years, so if you really just FUCKIN HATE IT, why don't you leave?

you dont even read the forums by your own admission if I recall. why did you post this man. I'm referring to your first few posts. was the OP "hey talk about if you think gw's forums are awful (but still loveable)?" nah, I'm pretty sure it said "vote for the best forum" and you and a few other buttbuddies took this as license to discuss FORUMS...THEY'RE AWFUL.
also we both know this is a dodge. I don't hate the forums I'm just calling them shit...

why do people still post this in 2008. it's almost 2009, you would think it would dawn on someone that just like Juris probably doesn't go around saying "good heavens someone has defenestrated that young man, I shall pontificate on this in several paragraphs" and Mark doesn't go to the MOMA and Blingee a Kandinsky, I don't really get angry about this shit?
