I mean if its an original image macro with words on it thing then yeah I guess some of them could be funny but really if anyone repeatedly did that they would get called a douche bag by me personally if not anyone else.

it seems to me like the kind of people you would run into on 4chan would be the same people that you'd meet on most of xbox live

I lurked at 4chan for a week or so and I regret ever doing it. It was litereally the very week they found that "motivation poster" creation site that creates those gay images (usually of cats) with black border and bold text like LULZ or CANCHEESBUGGER or whatever them kids do. That shit was terrible.
GW's the only place for me really, I've tried other forums but they suck, and I have friends who only go on facebook or anime forums... so while I want to branch out, I wouldn't even know where to start!

I lurk and participate in the civilized parts of 4chan and plus4chan.
You really need to filter through shit usually, but I like it there, It's a weird social experiment, and it can prove helpful at times.
I tried to lurk SA but It didn't last, I like their Let's Play though.

I dont spend asmuch time on Computers as i used to,
And GW is filled with kids now so im not as inclined to post or hang out as much as i used to,
I occasionally read the odd thread and reply.
I am still working on afew projects on the side but they get very little attention as im normally or getting drunk.

I post on Something Awful and the hockey zombie forums. Hockey zombie because its unblocked at work.

I have to say SA and Facepunch are the most active sites I know though. 4chan as well. I actually ending coming here, for no reason, just to check things out, then saw love and war part 2, and downloaded it. Even so facepunch might be full of 13 year old boys like 4chan sprouting endless amounts of memes. I know that Mikefoz was like around 30 years old as a super moderator. Facepunch had the custom forums, now turned into social groups. Removed emoticons, things changed after that, and people bitched about bringing them back and made greasemonkey scripts for them.

Apparently, gmod 10 for half life 2 is dead to the community now, that the general discussion has taken them over. Who still uses gmod anyway?

I got to 4chan, only on /g/, /v/, and /jp/ though, and the only one I visit on there regularly is /g/.
All the other boards are inactive, not for me, or full of 12 year olds (/b/ /r9k/)
Then again 4chan is full of idiots on every board.

I can't count how many times I've left and returned to GW. I'm sure because of that pretty much nobody here really knows me beyond my dumb teenager stage, where I had some pretty fucking retarded game ideas.

Back when it was around I frequented RPG Maker Database. It was a small community that occasionally had some major drama but I kinda liked it!

Oh and I hang around Destructoid occasionally.
