I've seen some pretty sweet pictures of your band playing at parties I think

which btw is such an excellent way to make money. the pyschofunkedelic band that I am in also can do bop and certain kinds of jazz really well and people will pay the big bucks for a jazz quintet to come play in the background at a party jesus christ. I made like 400 dollars in one weekend. now I understand why it is so easy for musicians to become drug addicts lol

If you can play soft "background" music you can get a lot of gigs. You just have to be able to suck in your pride and become transparent for a few hours. People aren't really listening but they always give great compliments and great pay checks/drinks/foods.
