Yes, don't worry guys I got over Trivium and the like when I discovered there's more to life than shitty Metallica impressionists.
Back in the day though, I was quite excited.

The next time I saw trivium I just stood at the back in dissaproval.

Matlab + cheap ebuyer webcam + 2nd semester EEng project =

It works by converting the image to black and white, inverting it, finding regions of pixels in the image and comparing the ratio of pixels populated to those that are not within the bounding box. There's some other stuff to make it work with shapes at angles but it seems to do pretty well atm.

combine that with the ARToolkit and there could be some cool shit happening there
