no thats a dumb statement I know people that watch nascar just because its a race and some people bet on it and some people are just interested in fast cars that go in circles and hoping that their driver will go faster in the circle then the rest of them.

its really dumb but they aren't particularly watching it for the crash thats just a bonus.

this doesnt account for why they would watch it on television which a lot of people do.  fiery crashes don't happen all that often and theyre not even that interesting.  also note that i've known people who were really into nascar and when asked why their response wasnt I LIKE TO GET DRUNK//HOPE TO SEE PEOPLE DIE but "its a lot more complicated than most people think".   maybe in the south people are just dumber but i've met nascar fans who are into it the same way someone would be into FOOTBALL or something.  as in, from a legitimate perspective, understanding the game and finding the strategic elements interesting.  they were still rednecks but you know, not all rednecks are completely retarded, at least here.  point is velfarre is acting like it's impossible for a person watching to notice the subtleties and i doubt this is the case

Oooh, I like that fountain and houses. Where is that?

Picture from last week where me and a friend took this year's first beach swim. New record!! 4.9C. I don't recommend it.


Got my new Skateboard today. Nothing special since I suck at it, but it's a pretty cool deck. Anyone skating here btw?
