I mean the Godzilla-esque monster from Sim City. :<

Maybe I'm thinking of a sequel? I'm pretty sure Sim City has monster attacks, though.

I'm having a lot more fun re-mapping Selva than I thought I would. It's gone from a 'city' with a small residential area and a couple of stores to having factories and manors. I've also made it look larger (more like a city) by adding little 'peeks' at different areas around the central city borders.

@KoG - First off I have to say that looks fantastic! But are you working on a new game now, what happened to The Wars?

@Ice - Don't worry man I was never good with Refmap either haha. Those cliffs look awfully weird though and that house on the stairs is just like a door?

It's messy cause I haven't got any idea how to organize the city yet (and the chipset is still incomplete).

Been busy doing some other stuff but I've got some things done.




I might go back to the default town chip for the town up there, cause it looks way to greyscale, especially the inside.

@Ice: The only real thing I see wrong with that is the house to the side...

It was supposed to be a shed or something lol, I knew it wouldn't quite workout with it being only 2 tiles wide.

@Lennon - I think the town with the grey buildings looks sick, nice to see a different palette on rudra chips. Very nice overall. The inside of the cave's quicksand or whatever that stuff is supposed to be looks nice, the sand catches my eyes attention.

@Sleeping_wind - I sure hope that's a world map and not a town, its really good for custom but the tree's just make it look odd with the buildings being that small.

I fixed the things everyone pointed out to me as much as I could. I didn't speed up the timing though, I like that he does his killing calculated. It's really part of his character. Basically rewrote the last 20 seconds of dialogue because it wasn't in keeping with the spirit of the game. I only spent 2-3 seconds on each message box so the vid would be shorter, so you will probably have to pause to read them. OH ALSO: You may notice the music has changed. I decided to scrap all the MP3 files I had. They sounded beautiful, but my filesize was over 150mb, which I know noone would want to download so I replaced everything with midis.

Love the changes you made to the intro. My only criticism now is that lord william just appears on the ship. It would be cool to see him fall from the sky onto it. The intro is all about presentation. I'd go for broke.

sleeping_wind: Super downsize the trees, and realistically the houses are too big for the the skyscrapers. Take another look at how Sim City compares sizes to help you out.

I'll see what I can do, I found a lot of really cool battle animations so if I can make some sort of effect that breaks his fall.... Thats probably the last change im going to make with it though. I'm pretty satisfied otherwise.
