@ sw : I think the orbs is too big, and it's weird to the player has glowing outline
Yeah, I am in a fix about this too. But I think the glowing outline is a good idea. Otherwise, the character/orbs doesn't stand out (It should be better in action I think...).
SW, I have a suggestion.
Why not make the sidewalks look slightly different from the roads? You could even make the roads more realistic by darkening the asphalt a little.
Tried the 1st suggestion a long time ago, but it doesn't work (mainly because I can't make a good sidewalk). Also, for the 2nd suggestion well... I would consider it if you said that few weeks ago, but now when the chipset and map is "finished" I can't really change it.
You see, some of the buildings have (parts of) the ground beneath them to make them 'merge' with the ground (especially If I put them on the 'normal' area of the chip, not the 'upper' area). So changing the asphalt would mean I have to do a lot of changing (the chip has 8 variants so yeah, quite a work there) and it's not worth it imo. Thanks for the suggestion though!
