The Pokemon graphics were the most controversial part of the previous game and I wouldn't have been able to do what I have planned for II with Pokemon graphics. I feel this way the game will be played by more people.

Fuck yes, I can't wait for this! I'm still annoyed the original didn't get nominated for any Misaos after I put all those nominations for it...

EDIT: The Pokémon graphics only worked in the original because they fit together well and everything was indoors. Personally, though, I wouldn't liked something darker. If this is going to be more outdoors then I am glad you're shifting the graphical style.

Using Game Maker 7 with a rendering DLL called Ultimate3d and a few DLL's of my own to keep time in low FPS.

The screens look really good but instead of showing so many you could have just picked some and shown them in a normal resolution^^

Considering that only 30% of the game are done which already consist of 600 Maps and tons of dialogue...no, that's very unlikely xD

@Eldboll: It's like TFT's Rainbow Nightmare, except that your game looks alot better. Very cool stuff, I like the big cog spinning around. Keep adding small things (or big) in each location and you'll have a very living game.

So I've been talking with DE, and we've decided to team up to completely re-haul AAG. He's taking care of all the graphic works (100% custom original!), leaving me to concentrate fully on building the game.

One of the biggest complaints was how stereotypically japanese animu the game was, so we're going to try and make it more racially encompassing (for example, we've got Arabs wearing turbans in the fourth screenshot below). Also, we're changing Leon's name to Ryan. Cause we can.

@Neok The stairs in the 3rd screenshot look weird since they're not in line with the angle of the tiles.
"the way you speak about rm2k3, like "modules, arrays, pointers" sounds like
you're some badass c++ programmer stuck in the past and only has rm2k3 to
