For those of you who did not already know microsoft has begun the public beta test for windows 7! The link to install it is here.

This download page has the installation instructions plus a FAQ. I cannot do this myself right now but I really REALLY want to hear from people who can! Tell us your experience with it!

It is a monumental improvement on Vista and is definitely worth the bother checking it out, but only if you have a spare partition that you can dual boot both your OSes from. I am very impressed by it but yeah, that other thread has a lot more info on people's experiences.
