The kind of homework where you need to collect an article a week on North Korea and then at the end of the year write a paper on them.

would it please you if I followed suit with everyone else and started saying that the sky was falling, they're gonna blow shit up, and we're entering another cold war with fucking north korea of all countries???
No.  I don't know a thing about North Korea, except that it's a complicated topic.  The way you talked about it made it seem like a football game.  It's difficult for me to take you seriously then.  Explaining things is nice, though!

What you say about deterrence seems very true and logical to me.  North Korea wants to join the club of nations that have any power at all in the world.  It would be more difficult for me to swallow if, say, Zimbabwe managed to get a working nuclear program, because it's exactly that type of nation that would ignore the deterrence policy.  What I didn't know is that it was possible for such a poor nation to be able to have it at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't North Korea working on a missile a few years ago that they claimed could strike the west coast of the U.S.?  If they've got that working and they do have weaponized plutonium, it could be big trouble for us.

no it's not.

I dunno if its that people are reading too many tom clancy novels or what but North Korea would never under any circumstances, other than an unprovoked invasion, launch a nuclear warhead at the USA.

That would not make any sense at all and contrary to popular belief, the people running north korea aren't a bunch or insane crackpots looking to end the world

This is crazy. I wonder how we will handle the situation, esp. if they become aggressors again.

I dunno. If we get nuked, you think it's right to nuke them back?

I thought N.K. ended their nuclear weapons program after we threatened to shove our warheads up their ass?

Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but I could swear this was recent news.

Yeah, I loved San Andreas, but it was just such a black game. :x Like. Eh, I dunno, it was all so frickin' black, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Vice City more.
