Velfarre what IS it with you and neutering dogs? You gotta stop using this as an example for everything girl! It's beginning to get a little creepy

What when have I ever used this example before?  Because if I have I have completely forgotten about it.

If you had thought harder, I'm sure you could have come up with a more reasonable and relevant example than dog neutering, but I know exactly what you mean.

It's just fine as an example, I guarantee teaching my dad how to code a website is just as hard as you learning to neuter a dog.  As in, basically both of you will give up very early in.

Well forgive me for seeing someone on an online message board looking for quick cash and making the assumption that he might be more willing to try learning website development than your dad.

Also my dad made me teach him how to build websites. No scripting/coding involved, and it was still hell thinly spread over a couple of years of offhand "how-to" requests. (The dad teaching reference would have made a better argument initially than the neutering analogy)

the argument wasn't against you suggesting he do web design it was against you saying "anyone could do it"

Oh. Well since that's the case, that was uncalled for.

I'm sorry to hear your finances are so tight, that must be rough.

But hey, look on the bright side:

Barack Obama is our new president!  :waycool:

Yeah, this.  It was good advice for this topic, it was just the rest of the post I had a problem with.  The advice itself is really good.

You could always try to get four really shitty jobs that have you working part time at all hours for a couple weeks. Like, one or two through the night, et cetera. Night jobs tend to pay much better, so if you take some REALLY SHITTY job for two weeks you can probably make $800 working nights. You won't get any sleep (especially if you're working days, too) but it probably won't have to be for long. Seriously, just think of a list of the worst jobs you can imagine and then write them down and see if they need a graveyard shift worker.

I have a part time job at staples now, and I have found out tha Nebraska's fertilization clinics don't accept public sperm donations or some weird law.

Also, even should I have the skills, I don't think I am capable of neutering a dog!

See if you can get a few spare computer parts from friends or previously used items,    Me and some friends are working on making a mame box and well  all you need is a working computer, some games and some time.  We already got our total to be about $80 or so,  and we already have someone we know interested in buying for $500 minimum.  If you did this, and used cheap or readily available materials, you can make a nice profit.

I bet most people here don't even make money at all and are like in their 30s+ and depend on their parents still for cash on their video game spendings and internet service fee for porn.

Anyway, get a site, a niche, and some clicking ad thing. Take it slowly.

AND NO, NO PORN!!

The ironic thing being that the advice you just gave is most likely the exact thing most of those people you mentioned are persuing in trying to get their 30+yr old dependent lifestyle on the train to Sucesstown, USA. (And they could get it to work though, if only they didn't spend so much time watching that Goddamned porn!)

adult website webmastering is ridiculously profitable.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

What marketable skills u got

Also I think there's limits set on how often you can donate sperm or plasma. It's a considerable bit of one-time pocket money for essentially no actual work but not a great way to make money even in the short run.

Yeah, I loved San Andreas, but it was just such a black game. :x Like. Eh, I dunno, it was all so frickin' black, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Vice City more.
