Yes you're right there is one. But as far as the homepage goes I see no reason why I should change that. I am used to having Google as my homepage. Sorry fo rnot mentioning that...

Well yeah, i'm not saying people should be changing their homepages, I just never understood the idea. After you're used to it I can see why you wouldn't change it but I don't know why people actively set their homepage to google.

I don't know about other people but I'm really lazy and when you open google.com it automatically selects the text box, rather than having to click the search bar first in my browser....

I have google as a homepage on my other computer (which I don't use very often for browsing, I guess..) as an alternative for about:blank, which is too... well.. blank...
