I think they spend too much time on making it look all fancy and graphically great and not much time on the gameplay mechanics and the fun factor of the game. That's just my opinion though...
Nah I'd say that for the most part this is fine too but the length, the LENGTH of games these days is ridiculous. You're lucky to get more than 10 hours, let alone 15 or so, out of a good adventure game these days. Yeah I mean there's GTA and stuff like that to break the rule, but Dead Space, Crackdown, Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, Devil May Cry 4, etc. It's irritating as sin considering as an Aussie I already pay pretty much double what you yanks do for a game.
