maybe you guys can help me. on LG phones regardless of being AT&T or verizon there's just this random chunk of this song called, 'This time.' I've googled and wikipedia'd the song title and lyrics but i can't find anything about it. its a gay tune but kinda catchy. who the hell made that shit. and why the fuck is it on my phone.

I have an LG and they're the damned most reliable phones out there.  Mine came with the most awful set of ringtones ever, though, and I'm sure as hell not going to spend $5 for 20 seconds of Lollipop.

The only song I know called "this time" is a pretty fun pop-rock song from 1995 by a totally cool(if you ignore their mid-late 70's prog stuff) Canterbury scene band named Caravan.
Of course it iain't gunna be that song but I can't resist name dropping canterbury bands at every opportunity.

I have this same problem with my Dell laptop. Open up the brand spankin new right out of the box My Music folder, and there's all this dynamite music. Except it tells me who the artists are so I look them on myspace and got their whole albums on my ipod. But damn that music is dynamite.

For the record, as dumb as it is and as bad as it works for some things, I have had luck finding out the names of songs through songtapper.com.  There was an Italian song that I heard somewhere that I knew zero of the lyrics to, had no clue who did it, and only knew the main melody, and yet I found out all the info with that site.
