It says its some anti virus bullshit but I'm pretty sure its some kind of spambot/virus thing because it was messing up my computer hardcore.

I think my stupid ass little brother downloaded it when I was gone because I sure as hell didn't do it and no one else even uses my comp or would care to put virus protection on it. Unless it downloaded itself

Also I need to know how to get into the windows startup thing because I need to stop it from starting up when I reboot my computer (even though I'm pretty sure I deleted it) and any other useless programs I got when I reformatted

I've been using spybot but web pages in firefox keep trying to open up by themselves.

Most of the time firefox stops them though and they can't get access to the net. I guess this is why its happening because I only visit legit sites and I've never had shit randomly trying to pop up on my comp like this before.

Spybot can't get whatevers doing it though and its not screwing my computer up so unless anyone knows of a method to completely clean it out other than formatting I'm probably not going to bother with it until my computer starts fucking up again or I feel like formatting.

I'm going to backup all my important stuff onto a spare external just incase stuff gets bad but I don't think I should have a problem with band account pws and stuff like that because I usually don't save my passwords for important crap and my bank would let me know if someone was transferring mass amounts of money out of my account.

Hopefully that won't happen though because I would get pretty pissed about it.

Do you have an anti-virus installed? Spybot only gets rid of spyware. Try Avg free 8.0 if you don't have anti-virus.
