right 2 the point

What are your favorite XBox Live Arcade games? I'm looking for some new recommendations.

I've really, REALLY been enjoying Castle Crashers (one of my favorite games ever? what) and Alien Hominid (I am addicted to those PDA games). Also, Street Fighter II and some other game I can't remember. But, anyways, I'm looking for some good XBLA games. What do you play?

(also add me and lets play castle crashers)

I really liked n+ (try the flash game out first before you buy it) and marble madness. Does castle crashers still have busted online match making?

R-Type Dimensions recently released, it is basically the first 2 R-Type games remastered(original arcade graphics included too) with online/offline co-op. Its a very good shooter, check it out sometime!

Or you could try the XBLA demo.

Doesn't the XBLA demo limit you to the first 10 episodes which are incredibly easy and don't really showcase how difficult/awesome the level design is?

Probably, i dont have a 360. Although i will say N+ is pretty fun, if a bit simple (ive got the ds version on my flashcart)

I've gotten a massive amount of fun out of Castle Crashers, probably play it as much as I do Rock Band when I have people over. Braid's good, and I enjoyed Metal Slug 3. N+ is... alright, but doesn't hold a candle to the PC version (it's a lot slower and... less tight, I guess? Don't like it nearly as much). Apart from that, haven't really got many suggestions. Duke Nukem 3D is kinda fun but it's just the same as it was oh-so-many years ago with a crappy new rewind feature chucked in.

I actually prefer the 360 version of N+ myself.

I've enjoyed N+ and Geometry Wars 2 quite a bit. Braid was fantastic the first time around, but it doesn't have a ton of replay value (unless you wait long enough and forget the puzzle solutions).

If Arcade ports of old school retail games count, then Doom, Duke Nukem, and Symphony of the Night are all great too.

if you are a fan of rhythm games, boom boom rocket is one of the best ive ever played.

heavy weapon is also surprisingly good, for a popcap game.

i liked the prince of persia remake/whatever, too.

Awesome suggestions, guys, thanks. I was actually never a fan of n, when I played it online years ago. Felt like some kids senior project in Flash 301.

I have all the Metal Slugs on the Wii (for like $10, awesome).

I should really try R-Type, I used to hate that game. Way too frustrating. I've heard good things about Geometry Wars, also.
