what is this couchfn
This is an album that I've been working on w/my band for like a year and a half or something like that.  Its been done for at least 6 months, but the artwork just got finished so it is out now!

how do i get it
go to the site and download it!!!

what does it sound like?
I guess it is post rock and prog rock.  Influences I can see in it are like... radiohead, ef, led zeppelin in a few tracks.  I donno!  Just check itout.

God damnit I'm listening to this and I started with the last song and am starting it over again because I had my winamp on loop but this is really really good.

I know I always say that about couch stuff but you guys are insanely talented, did you turn this into a label yet? Are you going to try to get signed with one or what?

Man this is some good shit. And its not even "hehe they're pretty good for an indie band." You guys are legitimately really really good and if you haven't gotten any offers or picked up yet then I wouldn't believe it.

Edit: This is really good and pretty much what I expected btw. Not as much vocal-work as I'd like but its my favorite album you've released on GW so far and its going into my ipod with all the other bands I listen to!

I don't know you probably had alot of vocal work in it but not as much actual singing and lyrical content but thats what post rock is I guess. Its still really cool to listen to and whenever I play it and someones like "dude who is that" I'll be all: I KNOW THAT MOTHERFUCKER

gratz though this is a really solid album.

@Cox: glad you dig man.  It is super encouraging to hear such overwhelmingly positive stuff.  Ideally yeah I'd like to get us on some kind of good label, but we will see.  It is pretty sparse vocally, yeah.  The new album we're working on is actually going to be more vocal centric aesthetically.

I gave this a listen. It's pretty good, nice and relaxing in a strange way. My only real problem with this is some of the songs kind of drag on. I prefer Where is My Spaceship and EmFrik, but this is still really good.

How did it take 6 months to get the artwork done>

I wouldn't mind seeing this album in the store.

Oh yeah I wanted to mention that I think that this album sounds alot like Isis and Aereogramme together with maybe a hint of Radiohead, but I don't really hear the radiohead as much as those two.

And I'm talking about a lighter Isis and not the heavier metal stuff

Curious, why does everybody say radiohead? Like I can understand the stylistic similarities and also greatly admire radiohead so it's not like it is really annoying, its just that in terms of HMM THIS SOUNDS LIKE i dont know that I would say radiohead immediately.
