if you top out at like algebra you've learned enough math for almost all your life unless you go into an engineering field. if you top out at pre-calc unless you are in physics or mechanical engineering you've probably learned all the math you'll ever need in said field. the supposed analytical skills people are advocating are learned in geometry as that is when you first learn proofs and believe it or not even a street thug knows how to do these kinds of things with zero education because guess what most people figure it out.

I haven't done calculus in years. there's not a person here who wouldn't just put that in a simple truth table of C=3 ALWAYS and figured it out in a few seconds. even if it got really complicated, you'd still just make a truth table. because guess what! simple truth tables are where we all pretty much need to stop. diff eq etc is pretty useless in any real situation.
