hey that's another weird thing; what a shitty host. like chai-wallah is kind of an insult but it's like saying YA BUM. you aren't really talking about bums as an insult. but the host is like A CHAI WALLAH???

HOW QUAINT.

once again it's part of the fairy tale aspect of the story he is a beat up commoner etc but I wonder if any indian people really liked the realism aspects of the movie or were just bothered by the idiosyncracies of the indian people portrayed. like all the people gathering around tv sets in the middle of Agra wtf even villages with loadsetting power outages have several TVs, Agra is a tourist destination.

i wasn't talking about this specific instance but there's a couple of times not too long ago ryan is being relatively harmless and coxswain just goes FUCKIN DICK and rants for half a page.
