You know the Resistance: Retribution PSP demo you can get by reserving the game? Well someone uploaded the CSO file online:

Now that I played it, I can only say one thing: Its Syphon Filter with Resistance's plot, weaponry, enemies, ect. However, this isn't too much of a bad thing since those of you who played Syphon Filter will feel right at home. I really fucking hate the controls though, its not that they are bad but its the fact that you are using the face buttons to aim and it just feels a bit clunky but I got used to it. The frame rate dips a bit too but it doesn't break the game either and its not too noticeable. Overall though my expectations of this game were met here, and it is probably going to be a damn great PSP game.
Edit: Actually, it just released on the PSN today and it lags less with that demo, so you would be better off downloading that one.

Yeah, I've already played this and completed it, it's old news but the demo was mildly satisfying for me.

It looks cool, but by god I hate the PSP so nevermind that. Would be cool if they made a port to PS2/PS3 or something like that, but it's on the PSP at the moment so fuck it.

i'll download the full game and try it but joystiq gave it a pretty bad review.  i generally ignore reviews but this guy was saying that the story was throwaway and that the last 10% of the game ramped up in difficulty to such a ridiculous extent that it took as long to plow through as the previous 90%.  that kinda turns me off but we'll see!

Joystiq and the other two critics at the bottom of the list seem to be the only ones who think that.

What's wrong with the PSP?

I can't fit my hands around it and it's uncomfortable to play. I bought one, have played it twice and am now going to sell it.

The game just released yesterday, I might pick it up soon. My friend has it and says the single player is pretty good so far and it has an outstanding multiplayer. I myself still hold the best MP game on my psp to be Syphon Filter: Combat Ops and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, but we'll see.
