I would say "What has she done not to deserve any respect?", but there was that incident on Celebrity Big Brother. The respect she deserves is the respect I believe we are all entitled to when something truly awful is about to befall us. I can understand people celebrating the slow, painful death of a sadistic, remorseless serial murderer and rapist; but all Jade Goody did was talk a bit (or a lot, some might argue) of shit.

and i don't think anyone is really celebrating jade what they're celebrating is that this farcical media coverage will finally die down. perhaps also celebrating the people who would deify jade goody like this having their idol taken away from them.


i will attempt to break down the problems with the jade situation, and why nobody actually cares about jade goody dying:

jade wasn't just racist and stupid. she KNEW she was. she never made an attempt to better herself. she felt like it was perfectly fine for her to go around like this.

and she was entitled to anything and everything. evidenced by her countless quotes on her death bed: "i'm going to heaven" "i'm going to become an angel" etc. very modest.

where most celebrities who are in this situation attempt to help a charitable cause, by donating money, raising awareness etc, jade goody raised awareness for HERSELF.
