sorry I've been really sick the past couple of days, I haven't really been in shape to slog through a battle. I'll probably be good to do it tomorrow, though.

Wow.  I've never been so sick that I couldn't play video games.  Actually, I find excessive amounts of video games to be what keeps my mind off of the symptoms.

Jamie are you feeling any better to to start off your turn? Or are you still not able to do it?

A hard battle, really! It was pretty tough. I gained GYAN a new force member, and I found a RUNNING PIMENTO in a barrel. Chef, I trust ya to deal with these new resources wisely. I think GYAN would be a great addition to the force, in place of SCREECH? What do you think?

Enjoy Cameela, sucker...heh heh. I thought I had Cameela, but I had the one before. Battles are hard as Brock's now (that is pokemon slang for ROCKS) so watch out!.

I am real glad we picked Eric he was so good in that fight. Great attack power, great HP and great movement.

Yeah, I'm pretty p.u.m.p.e.d. I think I get the first battle back on Grans Island (and also Sheela). I think we'll have pretty much all the dudes soon. I was thinking maybe we could use Chaz this time around. I've never used him because he starts with a bunch of level 2 spells at like level 15 but apparently he's pretty good. What do you all think about that? Also not trying to be a big douche or anything but Ramci and I are going on a road trip at the end of the month so if we could finish the game by then...

Is there any benefit in waiting to promote characters (kind of like evolving Pokemon at a ripe level) or do they just end up with the same stats anyway?

It's not the same as pokemon or anything, but if you wait to promote until level 40 then your characters will be much stronger. Not quite twice as strong but much stronger and you probably won't have any trouble with the later battles at all because of that. It makes the middle of the game a bit more of a challenge.

The Chess battle in Tabletop Kingdom will be a difficulty spike especially.

easy fight, other then half my team getting killed, but thats no big deal really, Bowie actally finished the boss off with a double crit attack even though he probably didn't need the second crit.

Game on guys....... I saved in Roft but I haven't looked around the town yet. If you walk into some house, Zynk will join you and south of town there's a cave where you can get Claude and if you really, really want to, the three people we didn't pick up at Creed's mansion. I also didn't buy the new equipment or anything so you'll want to do that. But man, some guys really fell behind. I had to drop Jaha for Gyan (who is pretty good it turns out) and Skreech for Sheela. Gerhalt is pretty weak right now too so we might end up having to drop him too.
