Spyro fucking sucked, it had terrible plot lines almost worse than sonic's plotlines and a really bad camera.

Can't blame him, I don't recall there being much to pay attention to in Spyro.

It had someething to do with dragons being turned to stone. Thats all i remember.

Depends what PS3 you have. The older PS3s have native PSX/PS2 playback, those inbetween don't have backwards compatibility at all, and iirc the recent ones have moderate PSX/PS2 emulation. Usually, at least now, it's pretty good, but not all games are playable.

they'll probably make this one backwards compatible as it would be dumb as fuck not to.

Knowing Sony, there is a huge chance that they won't. The only PS3 model to feature almost full backwards compatibility was the 60 gig to my knowledge(I don't have a PS3 yet and have only played the 60 and 40 gig, so correct me if there is another with backwards compatibility).

but...it's a new game. that THEY are making. all they need is to put a patch on the network. I'm not sure I get why you think they wouldn't make probably their last PS2 game backwards compatible? it doesn't need full compatibility, just this one game.

I'm not saying that it needs full compatibility and I am not saying that the won't eventually put it in a future model, but I personally find it odd that the 60 Gig ps3 features almost full backwards compatibility(This I know) and the 80 gig has almost half(from what I hear that is, please correct me if I am wrong). I too hope that you can play this on a PS3 though, my PS2 is almost ready to die(it is barely reading game discs that are in great condition) so I need a console to play my PS2 games on as well :/
