it was a pretty funny movie with a lot of sight gags and dick jokes, plus cohen doing his thing to draw out the worst in people.

the dickhole yelling "BRUNO!" was a v. funny part IMO

I really want to see this, but I'm wondering why this is getting such bad ratings in comparison to Borat. Is it just too OVERTHETOP for sensitive newspaper editors or does everything feel too staged or is it that the novelty of a mockumentary is gone or is it just honestly NOT AS FUNNY as Borat?

A lot more of it is staged, I think. I don't know, it's just not... the same as Borat like it's very different! I really don't know how to put it. It is a lot more like a normal conventional movie in some regards.

yeah the majority of the movie is staged and most of it doesn't even pretend to be real, there's a lot of scripted stuff and most of it isn't that great. i still think the movie is all right but it's a missed opportunity.

I just watched most of this. There some funny bits definitely but I agree with too much being staged. So much of it was scripted it might as well have all been just like the matrix 2 should have just all been CGI cause neo was in all the "High Octane" scenes anyway

the gay panic shock comedy was really staged and got stale really fast imo.

that's not to say there weren't a few good points, but mainly i can't believe i spent my money watching this instead of up or something.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

idk I think their first productions were cool, like Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Everything inbetween and after that felt kind of dumb and lackluster though.
