can you use foo_chronflow (foobar version of coverflow) in the default ui? well I dunno but that's like the best thing in my foobar, I use it everytime to find the music I want.

That's dom's facets at use there. I still managed to make it look like ass stick, but works like a charm.

Those three big vertical ones are just for browsing the library, the horizontal panel at the bottom is the playlist and shows what's playing. So I can double click some song in the library view and get that added to the playlist and then browse for some more. You can probably make your own skin pretty swift and easy, but I can also send my skin if you like, just give me a pm.

i might have to actually take you up on that because the last time i edited my foobar for last.fm i had to spend an hour figuring it out. granted most of that was trying to remember my last.fm password but i bet i'd fuck this up too.

haven't actually used it yet but from everyone that i know who has i've heard pretty much all positive things about it saying that it is like pretty innovative compared to vista and is well crafted for the most part and has like a lot more built-in stuff and integration.

Windows 7 runs amazingly fast compared to even xp on my laptop. the only problem is that when I tried it, I could not play certain games as they did not have the correct drivers available for my video card. it manages memory usage a lot better, and has a few neat little extras here and there. I'm looking forward to getting the final version.

they do not even have fully functioning drivers for vista so im probably just going to have to get a new laptop. it's an old intel integrated.

Copious amounts of icons. A picture of amazingly cool synthesizer replicas by Dan McPharlin on the laptop screen and a picture of my native Rotterdam on the main screen. At work I use another screen of the same type, on which this image is used: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Toledo_Skyline_Panorama,_Spain_-_Dec_2006.jpg

I like 128x128 icons on my desktop a lot more than the usual 32x32 or 48x48. I actually think the Mac OS X default is 64x64 or even bigger. I still use tiny icons when browsing files, though:
