I've been reading a lot of webcomics lately, and thought they could use some discussion here on GW.

I'll start with some of my favourites:

Least I Could Do: While generally quite crude, it is also absolutely hilarious. The art and characters are great, as well as the writing. Also offers the occasionally political comment and can be quite nerdy at times. I love this one.

Cyanide & Happiness: How could I not mention this? It's a classic and never ceases to put out great material.

Ctrl+Alt+Del: While not always funny, it has good characters and storylines, and I enjoy reading it.

Now, what are your favourite webcomics, GW?

My favorite webcomic is Buttersafe

http://www.buttersafe.com/

Its pretty neat, its got two artists who make different styled single paged gags. Its similar to like XKCD in the tone of the humor except its not nerdy jokes and its funny (heh get it I just said xkcd isn't funny (just kidding xkcd can be funny sometimes but its mostly hit and miss))

I also read

Abominable Charles Christopher http://horhaus.com/abominable/
Cool story-based comic with a realistic art style about a yeti-like monster in a world with talking animals.
Gunnerkrigg Court http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/index2.php
Cool story-based comic with a fairy tale-like art style about a girl in a harry potter like school except its cool
Horribleville http://horribleville.com/
Autobiographical-ish short stories comic by KC Green, his art is cool and hes funny.
Girly http://girlyyy.com/
Story-based comic with a cool, expressive cartoon style, with lesbians and cats and whatever.
Sam and Fuzzy http://www.samandfuzzy.com/
Black and white story-based cartoony comic about a guy and a talking bear, can be pretty funny, and the art improved a lot as time went on.
DrMcNinja http://www.drmcninja.com/
Adventures of a ninja, story-based, its cool and funny and not as dumb as it might sound though its still a bit dumb.
Kinokofry http://kinokofry.com/
Cartoony and cute single page gag comic with mushroom people and cool watercolor art sometimes.

achewood, kate beaton history comics, overcompenstating, and white ninja are the only ones i keep up with on a semi-regular basis (and by that i mean i check every week or so when i'm not doing anything because i hate getting one comic at a time).

i used to read dr mcninja because it somehow succeeds as a funnier thing than you'd expect from the sum of its parts (NINJAS???PIRATES?? LOOOOOOOOL!!!) but doesn't he update like once a month? i stopped caring about it a long time ago anyhow.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

PBF Comics was great, but the guy never updates anymore.  This saddens me.

Since no one has said it yet...

Also I love Cyanide and Happiness.  Good for a daily laugh.

Yeah, I saw that as soon as I posted.  I would go back and edit it, but I don't care and the link is there for people.

I enjoy Sam and Fuzzy, it just appeals to me. Especially those Skull Panda snippets.

And Edge, the Devilhunter, a pretty weird one I like.

A tool is a tool regardless. I mean if you suck, you suck, and not even the most perfect tool could save you. And if your damn good then even with the worst tool ever conceived you could chug out some high quality shit.

CAD has never been funny, self-insert, can't even get nerd humour correct, Buckley can't draw for SHIT ( B^U is his only expression), gets sexist, tried to introduce a MISCARRIAGE storyline Well I'm Sorry 'Bucky' But the Only Mis-Carriage is Your Comic!!! heyo, Buckley is arrogant as all hell, aaa it goes on but I've not looked at it for a while.
I've gotta leave pretty much NOW (happy mother's day!!!) so someone else can probably do a better, less-rushed summary.

Yeah, I just... tried to read CAD and read about 6-7 comics and not even one of them made me smile in the slightest. Why is this comic so popular.

I read Buttersafe and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal every couple of days.

EDIT: Used to read Perry Bible Fellowship fervently until he stopped updating.

SA is on its third thread, and actually got quite tired of it for a while since they made TOO MANY jokes about it.

I want you to contemplate that fact for a moment.

EDIT: Wait, you like LICD too? You indeed are utterly hopeless.

The Abominable Charles Christopher is a really good one that I never hear internet jerks chattering about. The guy who draws it is an actual, professional comicbook artist so it looks really nice, but he only updates once a week. I like to check up on it every couple of months!

Also Eegra's comics are pretty cool if you like videogames and don't drink your own piss. This one is my favorite

Wait I've finished a webcomic series but can't remmebr the name. It's something like a video game character who likes to save the video game world, it has good characters and awesome plot.. (it has slight animation and not actually a page with frames.)

Also, the MEtal Gear webcomic (also can't remember the name)
