Don't buy that motherboard if you absolutly want the 6000+ processor, it's a good board but it only supports processors up to 95w tdp.
It's not a problem if you plan on buying an AM3 processor when they'll be out as the board is listed as compatible with them and they are 95w, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

EDIT: Alternative with that board would be a Phenom 9750, they made a 95w version of that one, but that would come out as more expensive, hell, it's probably the best you could get with it untill the AM3s are out. Altho, then again, there's also the Athlon X2 5800+, which is 89w and is less expensive then the 6000+

It doesn't matter wether the games are installed on his machine or not, if he bought a Source game, it'll be there regardless.

Tried reinstalling it?

This is pretty much the only actual answer they give on their forums to things like that.

Turn off VSYNC, it has a HUGE effect on the controls. I have no idea why.
And turn vsync on in your drivers after that, then it'll be locked at 60 fps and the mouse sensitivity won't randomly drop.

EDIT: Also, from what I read elsewhere, the game uses triple buffering and that's what apparantly causes mouse lag and sensitivity drop, and also why the in-game vsync causes problems since it locks it at 30 fps.

You cant sap anything if i burn you alive.
Buddy, listen to me, burning a good spy is not that simple, you can trust me on that one, taking that flamethrower and spewing it about hoping you'll burn that darned spy ain't gonna do you any good if he knows what he's doing.

I have an Acer widescreen monitor that's 19'', and if the one they're selling is the same as mine then it won't let you keep the aspect ratio for older games for the most part, so they'll look stretched, I've really never seen any sort of option for that on mine (wether it's by looking through my drivers or the monitor's options).
Or maybe it's just ATI that doesn't support that function in their drivers for VGA monitors.

I'm thinking it's because you overclock your processor, some games don't really like it too much.
I've never run into any problems and I do have 4gb of ram, a dual core processor and a HD4850, hell, even games from the 90s work fine on it (note, I am running WinXP Pro 32bit, but I wouldn't blame it on Vista either way as the sole reason I didn't switch to it was because I already had a copy of WinXP handy).

But yeah, usually, underclocking a little fixes quite a bit of problems with certain things.

Anyhow, I'm having a lot of fun with L4D, just wish server admins would stop installing that mod that puts a cooldown time on melee if they're going to force the server on expert for versus.

If you're worried about the level cap:
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=121
This mod increase it to either 30 or 40, you'll need this to make it work fine:
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=165
Else there's a chance you'd end up locked in the level up screen.

Alternatively, there's this:
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=96
Which is probably better since it just increases the experience needed to level up, so not quite game-breaking, I don't know if it'd take too long to level at high level though.
I actually haven't tried them, so I'm not sure how they work, they seem to though.

Here's something for those who think VATS is overpowered:
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=68
You'll take as much damage in VATS as in realtime, so now there's actually a disadvantage to it since you'll be vunerable while doing it.

No mod that removes the slo-mo yet.

Also, FO2's cap was 99, but you'd be crazy to actually grind that much, FO1 was 21.

Didn't know you'd wanted to know.
Though I wouldn't have been able to tell you anyway. My internet has been slow since I moved into my new apartment, and since I had to download it, I was asleep before it finished. Just tried it now and it was fun. but I haven't gotten far enough to know if I'll really like it. and I probably wont for a while, because I'm getting some graphical glitches that I need to figure out how to fix.
Turn AA/AF off, seriously, I had loads of artifacts and that removed most of them.

There's the voice somewhat cut from the trailer here and it sounds much more like "the myth".
Unless R'lyeh is pronounced a bit like that?

She says "the myth", not "R'lyeh".

That was quite a great way to end it! I hope they'll eventually do something about , I'm pretty sure they're going to make at least one OVA at some point.

Another crazy thing is that
Yes, I felt the same about her, she did come off as surprising!

Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to the next ep, seeing what things are going to be like.

Screenshots really don't do justice as to how good this series is, you really need to watch some episodes to see what it's really like.

Watching: Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann.
Reading: The Question v1 (O'Neil's Question, sort of decieving that the comic book Question is completely different in every aspect to the JLU one, save the costume, still a pretty good read), The Question v2 (Veitch's Question mini-series where he's some sort of urban shaman from all the meditating he did), still trying to find Dikto's (the original Carlton Question).

EDIT: Accidently posted, ignore this.
