ahhhhyess... makes perfect sense
I don't know why you're trolling me. I just meant that I used to be very openly suikoden-eccentric.

Thank you for reaffirming for me that posting was a mistake, though.

This is the first game I've played in around a year, which makes sense if you know me at all. I was a little disappointed that they haven't started working on Suikoden 6 yet, but this gives me hope that they haven't yet abandoned the series. Frankly, this is the only video game series I have any interest in anymore.

It's enjoyable. I have a hard time concentrating on it but I account that to a lack of interest in video games. I don't know about the voice acting, I don't play with the sound up.

Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that this isn't meant to reboot the series. It's a spin-off of something that has been very vaguely mentioned in the series (items like Star Dragon Sword come from Infinity.) I think this was meant as a flag to the fans that the series is still alive, just sort of in limbo. Of course, it would've made a lot of people angry to see the main plot jump to the DS, which explains a spin-off (which should sell well as the ds is very popular.)

Ugh I hate talking about games.

Is there another topic for this somewhere? I could have sworn he said he had alcohol and drugs visible in this topic, unless that was a sarcastic remark. I am going to reread the topic, sorry for not having the facts straight and just making more confusion.

But the point still stands that you couldn't have been so concerned for your own safety if you chose to drive shortly after having used a drug known to make driving dangerous. I can only imagine you weren't apologetic or polite when dealing with the officer, so I'm not entirely sure why you would expect him to be so concerned for you. Besides that it's not cops jobs to be nice, it's their job to protect innocent people from others who are potentially hazardous.

Unfortunately Brown isn't going to stop doing it because anyone says something to him, and is eventually going to end up paying for his ignorance. The fact that he totaled his cavalier and thinks it's funny is proof of that. (I should mention that I don't mean to give up on attempting to inform him or to quit making him feel bad, I just don't think anything will work.)

Coxswain, didn't you say you had drugs and alcohol visible in your car? To me that would indicate a lack of concern for your safety, so why would the police officer be more worried about you than the people you're endangering? (I acknowledge the rest of your post and I am iffy about how aware you really were but like I said before, people don't acknowledge these things.)

I don't want to pick a fight here but Cockswain, but whether you acknowledge it or not, what you did was stupid and dangerous, and chances are the cop was justified in pulling you over. You clearly have a vendetta against the police force (which isn't very uncommon) and you're using that to attempt to justify your actions to yourself, which isn't surprising because you often have a lot of problems admitting you're wrong (countless topics you fight with people over things you do that they disagree with (rightfully.))

When I used to drink, half the time I didn't recognise/acknowledge how drunk I really was, and I've seen a lot of other people in the same position. Chances are that you were the one in that position, and you had someone along with you who was only enabling your behaviour because it wasn't really affecting his life... actually, he was probably enjoying it, unless he was high too, and if that's the case he wasn't in any position to tell you that you were driving fine.  If you had been in an accident and he had been hurt, I doubt he would've said "... no you were driving great I don't know what happened..." rather than "you were high as heck and driving crazy and nearly got me killed."

You're not going to accept responsibility for your actions, of course. You'll continue making excuses to make you feel like what you did was fine, but it wasn't, and even if you won't admit it, you should take what people are saying to heart so that you don't end up hurting someone else or yourself through your reckless actions in the future.

Oh, that's understandable. It must have went down shortly after my departure for people to still think I was modding it. I don't know who the person you're referring to is but it's cool of them to do that.

And hi ase, I'm surviving. I miss everyone here, too.

He is really not attacking you in any way, so people aren't teasing you for reacting but for overreacting to something that you're taking completely wrong. Well, he's not attacking you about your lifestyle. He is making fun of your inability to comprehend that he's not attacking you.

Oh, by the way, why did I get like 16 pm's asking what's wrong with people's zoo accounts? I'm sure they're old but did it go down or something?

I don't plan on it, I don't have a lot to say these days. I just felt like someone needed to address velfarres posts but I guess I was wrong.

I read the forums a couple of times a week because of attachments and would probably post more if I felt like I had anything interesting to say but I don't so... I don't. I know that never stopped me from making 300 terrible posts a day before, though. I don't know what else to say!

Dragonx I didn't see your response until I sent the other one so... it's in the other post.

Anyway I don't want to derail this topic anymore.

The idea was to make it personal so that I could be on the other end of it, and that's how I'd respond to that.  That's all it is, a response.  If I didn't respond then what would have been the point?

Arguing over whether or not I should have felt offended doesn't really matter though because I was, and I responded, and it's done.
I wasn't trying to argue with you, I noticed from your posts that you seemed very agitated and defensive and because no one else was saying anything to you I figured I'd try to reassure you that you shouldn't feel bad, that's all.

Sorry but if you specifically say YOUR LIFE IS NOTHING BUT SCHOOL AND INTERNET I feel like it's okay for me to take a post to say "no it's not here's why:"
I know I am just saying you don't need to be as offended as you are appearing because it wasn't meant to be that offensive.

see that's what i'm saying though, it takes three seconds to type a post saying UGH I'M SICK, and a lot of people did that in that topic...how does that make MY life so awful?

a lot of times my life IS kinda boring, but fuck, i have so much schoolwork that it's kind of hard, and who's life doesn't fall into a typical routine a lot of the time?  but, that doesn't mean ALL i do is go to school and sit on the internet, i spend a lot of time with my family (i'm hardly online at all when i'm at home), i walk around town with people i know, when it's the summer and i have more free time i go out on picnics with friends, go fishing, hell, last summer i taught a summer camp for kids and learned i like to play cornhole, the thing is i TRY things in order to see what makes my life more interesting, i don't let things COME TO ME, just because i sometimes get stuck in a routine most people do doesn't mean my life is sit around on the internet
He was only making a point using you as the example because your posts were some of the most harsh and frequent, not attacking you. You're taking it very personally and while it was meant to be personal to make you understand it wasn't to hurt you so you don't really need to continue attempting to justify your life.

I just wanted to say that Jamie is a really incredible person. I used to treat him badly and I feel terrible about it, now.

Steel, also, has changed a lot this year and I am really proud of him for that. I wish the best for you in 2009 and hope you get all that you deserve.

You're all really good people and you only get better each year. It's been a privilege to have known a lot of you.

While I'm here, I'd like to include hundley as an honourable mention. He's a very incredible person.
