It sounds different way more than usual to me. Not only does it have that "old" sound like all LPs but it just sounds way darker and more like if it was played in a frickin' cave. You should really see the art included with the LP, it's insane. They're one of the few black metal bands that they're lyrics aren't just simple Christianity bashing and praising Satan. They have very very interesting lyrics to be honest. I still don't really understand the Kenose lyrics/concept. You might want to check out Negura Bunget hehe

Yeah, I've heard about extended artwork, so I will try to get my hands on an LP version some day.

Well, I'd say say DSOs lyrics are something in that direction, with a twist of theology lol. As long as the band are serious with what they express in their lyrics and aren't completely retarded, chances are I will enjoy their music. And aren't american, I'm sorry to say; I've never heard any good north-american black metal, and I've heard alot.

Negura Bunget I'm familiar with but not really crazy about.

Si Monvmentvm Reqvires Circvmspice in LP format and it sounds extremely different than the CD version.

Well, to my common knowledge, LP always sounds different. But is it more different than usual? Anyhow, I started listening to them about the same time they released SMRC and I've listened to the older and newer records aswell. Not only is their music good but they sure know aesthetics and have something to say with their lyrics, which is something of a must when it comes to black metal.

If I listen to metal, I usually go for old-school bands like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Master's Hammer, Tormentor, Bathory, then maybe on to possessed, entombed, old Kreator stuff. Or mixed stuff like AMEBIX (truly awesome band) or The Locust (FOKFOKFOKWOOA)

Or, if I'm not in the old-school mood, I usually go for bands such as Deathspell Omega, Darkthrone, Burzum, Behemoth, Fullmoon, Mayhem, Craft, Watain, Urfaust, Nile, Marduk, Arkha Sva, Nåstrond, Arckanum and so on.

But really metal is gay.

I'm looking for an old game made by Angroth. I don't remember much besides the main character being a knight (whose name I think was borgoth or something) who hooks up with a necromancer in some winter town, then they go down in some cave filled with troglodytes or whatever.

It used D&D facesets and the titlescreen was black with some red demon cut in, amongst other things.

I don't remember the name of the game.

Hmm.

I never buy my own smokes and usually just have a few when I'm drunk but I tend to enjoy Lucky Strike cigarettes.

So yeah, I'm not paying for cancer.

Guys, I need your help. Especially from that dude who uploads like 500000 games. I don't remember the name of this game, but, it was on GW in like, 2005 or 2006. (made in  rpgmaker2003)

It was totally custom sprited 100%(had custom facesets, animation, battle enemies, etc) and there were three characters that joined you:

1. the main hero there was nothing special about him
2. his friend who had a cape and looked like vegita
3. some girl with no arms

I don't know much about the games story except two guards standing outside and one goes to take a piss and he's shot with an arrow. so the hero and his friend have to find a cure in the forest. And you end up stumbling on a cult, and this monster killing them off.

TFT, you're looking for LIGHTPRISM, previously known as Tet & Buster.

I found it in this french review, just off a googlesearch;

http://popoyt.free.fr/popout/?p=136

And just in case you're not familiar with germanic languages, the downloadlink is
"Qu’attendez vous pour télécharger ce jeu ?"

EDIT:

it is also awesome because it is a swedish game and you can tell by from a lot of names of places, monsters and shit (tvekamp höhö)

.. all of those are terrible.

WHAT THE HELL'S WRONG WITH BEING A SKINHEAD MAN

also; get a beard

you aren't welcome without a beard.

beard is more important than head hair. if you can't grow a beard, take it from the head. if there's no hair on your head either, get it from somewhere ELSE

In my opinion, Mr. Nemo's post should be ignored. There's such a thing as being objective and constructive, but if you aren't completely satisfied with Love and War, then there's nothing in this world that can please you.

Actually, you are 100% right. There is nothing in this world that can please me - it's all sex and death, as far as I can tell ;D

I played the first installment of LAW and I played this. I didn't complete it, but I think I should. However, I think that I am capable of giving some decent opinions of what I've experienced so far.

The better part of this game is truly, as most stated, the dialouge and the backstory (ie. the politics that are going on). I think you really managed to pull off what began as (in my opinion) a half-assed teenager-goes-to-hollywood but then SOMEHOW escalated into a intriguing plot. I would say that some of the dialouge between NPCs and the characters feels a bit off and sometimes odd, but you did manage to conjure a few laughs back here, so all in all, I wouldn't complain about that. Even though I could connect to the characters, I couldn't bring myself to like them; I do, however, really, really hate Juno :) so I guess you got me there.

Gameplaywise, it is simple, but simple works. One single thing that managed to greatly annoy me however, was the constant switching between random and on-touch encounters. You either have one or the other - and absolutly NOT on the same map I think this was the case in the mines at some point)

Graphics are... probably one of the weaker aspects of this game. They're clashing, are pretty horribly mapped and whatnot. The art looks very good I'd say, but the rest is...
Try and focus on a single source and style of graphics and practice. Take inspirition from other games with better mapping and blablabla thousands told you this already.

Musicwise and sounds, I think I absolutley DETESTED the songs in Davenport. That's the only impression it left on me, unfortunately.

Hope it helps.
