man, people complain about censorship in america but whenever they do i always tell them to look up new zealand or australia.  fuck, for a country made up of criminals you guys have it ROUGH.
I'd just like to add on to what Climbtree said.
I've never heard of anything being banned in NZ, I'm sure there's something, but nothing I've heard of. In general we tend to have lower age ratings on movies and such than other countries do, and it was only recently that stores even asked for ID when buying R16 things.

hypothesis: the word evolutionist is only used by overreactionary creationists who are unaware that the more precise term is "anyone with even an inkling of understanding towards modern science and biology" instead of some insulting belief system attribution.

experiment: check it Thats your experiment? Do you realise how horribly wrong that is?
This is why I hate Atheists, they assume that their answer is the SIMPLEST one, if it was so simple people would stop believing in "some insulting belief system"

conclusion: I'm right. Full sentences for answers.

I used to believe babies just came out of a womans stomach, that nothing opened or closed they just appeared if the woman groaned hard enough.
I also used to believe that the bogeyman was your own personal bodyguard at night, and that all of the ones in the cities were evil, but mine protected me. The ones out in the country and stuff were good.
Also, every song played on the radio was a live performance in the studio.

Wait, doesn't HIM stand for His Infernal Majesty?
Why haven't the parents got him/her for playing 'satanist' music to 10yr olds?

My school once blocked Wikipedia, and whenever you try to go to a blocked page it gives you a reason it was blocked, for wikipedia the reason it gave was educational... wtf?
From what I've heard from teachers it sounds like it takes a whole month or two to block a site (???no idea???).

This has been bugging me all day, and I really can't place it. I can't remember anything about this game, but all I have is this phrase in my head that I am sure is from the game. It's something like 'We've received word that [ x ] have sent away all their armies against [ y ]. They're virtually defenceless!'

I am not sure if that's even what is said but it's something like that, and I'm SURE it's from a game and I'm going to go crazy if I don't work this one out.

Would it be Emperor? Its a chinese city building game, when a rival attacks another rival you get a message like that.

I thought Alexa just infected you with a tracking cookie whenever you visit their site, that tells them where you are going. That would explain why Yahoo is the "most visited site", because people who use Yahoo dont know how to clear cookies/install anti-spyware etc...

Basically, some team is developing an algorythm similar to spam detection filters that will detect stupid messages or spelling/phrasing.

So basically if you are using this filter, you cannot access the Internet? Except like 3 sites?

Reminds me of when my school blocked Wikipedia because it was "educational".

One game I've been wondering about for a while:

It was an old Dos game, There was a starting Video of some kind, when you where in a plane in a WWII setting, and the enemy shoots your plane down. After that you are somehow in a fantasy world with dinosaurs, I think it was a point and click adventure game. Quite soon after the start you have to get across a river without the Croc in it eating you. So you swing across on a vine.
Later on in the game I remember you had to go underwater and in the top-left corner there were little bubbles representing your air left.
At the end of the game you had a battle with the evil guy and killed him.

Thats about all I can remember, other than that the starting video would sometimes crash my comp.
