The first time I swallowed a watermelon seed, my cousins told me it would grow into a plant inside of me, and vines would grow out of my ears. Then when they try to cut it off, it will be really painful. I immediately started bawling. And they eventually told me they were kidding.

They're remarkably simple to put together. Everything pops in, or slides in and screws in. Give us an idea what you'll mostly be doing (or want to be doing) on your new system, Tigress, and we can give you some good suggestions for system specs.
I'm going to be using lots of different graphics programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, and so on and so forth. I will be storing a lot of photos and images/files created from those programs. I need to be able to run lots of programs at once without my computer going crazy.
I also want it to be fast when I surf the net, stream music, watch videos, and get back into MMORPGs (mainly Gunbound)
I want a big screen to double as a TV, or I might get a TV and have it double as my monitor. I also need about 10 more USB ports, because 2 is just pathetic.

Ooh, nice topic. I am thinking of building a computer too. I want it to be amazingly sleek though. I currently know nothing of how to go about building one. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Wow, that's pretty impressive. He does have a great point. It is kinda funny how we still follow the old tradition of starting school when we're 5 when children are doing more and more at a younger age. For example, the applicants to colleges now are increasingly more competitive. They were raised with better and better technology. It would make sense that they can also start learning at an earlier age.

This is just stupid... If she were to publish a book full of unknown information on the Harry Potter universe it wouldn't be so random... It's like saying Godzilla is gay...
I was going to say it's part of some intricate story, or that he probably had something happen to him earlier in his life, etc etc. But her point was that there are gay people in real life, so its totally normal for someone to be gay in the harry potter world. I mean, in real life, are there really any discrimination of who is born gay or not? No, it could be just random too. Of course, people want to say it's part of the genes, etc. But really, it's just random!

sounds like a cop-out to make the character fit more with Ian McKellen imho
just like how his death felt like a cop-out to avoid using a replacement for too long
I don't think so... She has boxes and boxes of the "backstory" with detailed bios of all her characters. I mean, we don't have the papers, so we don't know for sure, but it sounds really dumb to just say "oh yeah he's gay" out of nowhere...

either i read the books poorly and missed a lot or this is just completely out of the blue
actually, in the last book, I *thought* there was more going on between him and Grindenwald. I thought for a split second they were gay, but I pushed it out of my mind.
