New friend code:  4641-9193-3234
Deleted my WFC settings earlier today to try and troubleshoot why I couldn't connect to Global Link (or anything, for that matter).

Alright, thanks for the links!  I'll definitely try to sit down and learn it in the next day or three.

I've been meaning to start playing Dwarf Fortress, but yeah, everything looks so daunting, even after reading the wiki for a couple hours.  Going to have to set aside more time to figure things out for myself.

Playing Gods Eater Burst right now.  Imagine if Monster Hunter was more accessible and was significantly more Japanese (aminé characters and the like).

It's pretty good, even if the story so far is fairly typical aminé campy melodrama, but it comes down to the fact that it's actually a fun game.  Better than Lord of Arcana by a mile, if anyone had any curiosity.

Also working on Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Vagrant Story.  I've a bad habit of starting tactical rpgs, but I'm hoping I'll take TO to the end.  The story is engaging, the visuals are delightful, and the music is sublime.  It's definitely worth a play, if you're that sort of gamer.

Online interactions for MvC3 have gotten worse since day 1, so I'm taking some time off to play Dragon Quest VI.  Will probably toss in some Mass Effect for good measure.

Playing fighting games online is definitely a masochistic action.  Just putting that out there.

Hopefully that's the case.  I guess last night I got a taste of day 4 online compared to day 1 online.  People actually were willing to try out different characters on day 1, now it's all Sentinel and Phoenix.  ~_~  Delightful.

Yeah, I didn't even realize that spectator mode was cut until just a few minutes ago.  :<  That's kind of a lame decision, on their part, but still, I've yet to have bad online experiences except for one isolated issue.

Online seems pretty solid.  Played a few rounds and only had to deal with one lagger (and he was also a trash talker who ragequit, go figure).  Aside from that, everything has felt really smooth and streamlined.

I guess Capcom finally realized their errors with the SSFIV online interface.

coool first post updated and everything, thread is going swimmingly. i was following a couple of you already but this was beyond my knowledge

nikuru, i see on your profile that you live in erie, pa and i'm so sorry. i lived there for two years and spiraled into horrible unending depression because of the landscape and general american flatland attitude. best of luck having a bright future in that dirthole : (
It's not too bad, barring the weather, but I figure if I can live here and have an optimistic attitude about most everything, I can live anywhere.

From what I heard, they tried to be too serious about the storyline for BC2...  I mean, you can't be a "Modern Warfare 2"-killer with silliness.

i was going to take a picture to describe how i feel about rush

but i guess i hit camcorder

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht2nxm3G2y0 a video instead
I guess that's kind of understandable.  Prog. rock, good prog. rock, at that, is supposed to be kind of grating, and it really isn't for everyone.

Make sure your Java's updated to the most recent version, ensure that you don't have Minecraft's executable set to run in 256 colors, and stop running Vista.  (that last one was a joke, kind of.)  That's really all I can think at the moment, but I'm sure Drule or others would probably be able to help you out better than I can.

I don't see the picture.
I guess that's why the detail isn't all that good.

LittleBigPlanet was lots of fun.  I don't have a PS3 myself, but I really enjoyed playing LBP with a buddy at his house.  I've yet to try out LBP2 yet, but I hear it's even better.  Those are two places to start!
