why do so many people hate these games? have you guys played them?

i've only played the second, but it's great cause it's such an intricate game. the skills, item creation, about a billion items to find, private actions and different endings are semi-unique and definitely add to the game.

the replay value is obviously high for those reasons which i'm sure is appealing to a number of people.

yeah, the characters and storyline are pretty cliche, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. rpg's have been following the same formula for ages, familiarity is part of what keeps them going.

Thats because the second one was awesome. The first one was nothing above ok and the third was horrible.

I play this game alot but I have never really made anything. I played around with it but I just said "fuck it" and downloaded awesome stuff like LittleBigDeadSpace.
