not sure if this is the right place, but the mods can move it later.  I was just wondering if there was a webhosting service that GWers found especially attractive.  any domains out there that cater to our specific needs especially well, or are they all the same?  I would have turned this into a poll, but I was hoping for some reasons to go along with the choices.  look forward to hearing from y'all.

well, maybe I can offer a middle ground.  overturn the federal restrictions, and leave it up to the fucking states.  you know, the way we were always intended to?  you may think I'm joking, but the federal laws should be finished by now.  the state and local governments are where things are actually supposed to get settled, but since congress wants to look busy, they've gone way beyond forming a more perfect union, establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting the general welfare, and securing the blessings of liberty for us.  this way, if you don't agree with stem-cell research, you can move someplace else.  and continue to quietly reap all the benefits.

I take a more personal approach to faith.  I accept the basic idea that you can't prove that God exist; however, I often talk to God as though S/He does.  It amounts to basically talking to myself, but hey, try to prove me wrong.  Because of the intensely personal nature of a relationship with God, I believe all religions that claim to know His/Her absolute truths are either misguided or deliberately misleading.  Hence, I don't force my personal beliefs on other people, and the last thing I would expect is for my beliefs to be made law.  But hey, I'm used to being in the minority.

I have epilepsy, so the weird thing is, sometimes I'll smell something without actually thinking about it.  like someone is holding invisible strawberries under my nose or something.  and before you ask, I'm not kidding; it is an actual symptom.  not really on topic, just something strange to think about.

it seems like I would have fit in here about a year ago, when everyone posting on this thread was still bright-eyed and optimistic.  but since the weight of the gaming world has crushed their spirits, I definitely feel like an outsider.
