Jesus Christ I can't believe these forums are alive! I used to love Gamingw back in the days. I learned a lot about game design by using RPG Maker during my childhood and Gaming World was the best website EVER. I graduated from college (CS major) and as I move into the gaming industry I guess I just wanna say... thank you!

Well you should know that mostly everything is less difficult than when you made your chapter.

@Massy: I know what you're talking about, happened to me the first time too. I should have included better hints. Basically you cannot walk on the tiles of a light color. Additionally, don't walk close to the line of sight of those lion-thing statues.

Just NEVER stand still unless Avaricious is on screen and you have to recharge.

I wake up everyday hoping that I might have lost my memory so I can play Crono Trigger, FF6, Lufia II, Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 and every fucking amazingly awesome game of the fucking best console ever that the Snes was. I would then open RM2k and attempt to equal them without being an artist.

I don't think it is just a matter of having grown up. They don't make games like those anymore. A great example is Dragon Quest V. I had never played it before and I just got it for my DS. I must say that I enjoy playing that game more than any game on the Wii, PS3 or 360 (this statement applies for most of my DS games really lol).

I think I missed the 3D train when everyone was boarding it, I would take 2D over 3D anyfkinday.

You don't understand. I didn't really sit on it for a year, there was NOBODY TO PASS IT TO, NOBODY. I asked several times. Upon seeing that, I tried to complete it myself but obviously was not able to. I did try "sending it on". In the end I said I was going to release the game as it was if nobody took it. Nobody did. The game was released without an ending. GG at least it WAS released and its a solid experience imo. Who knows if the game would have even ever been released if I hadn't taken it from Erave?

I'm sorry but I'm a senior in computer science taking 18 credits of 5000-level classes. I have absolutely NO time to dedicate to this. The only reason I asked for the game to be sent to me was because I had like 2 weeks off, which I used to solve the infinite amount of bugs, typos, mapping, etc... Nobody else wanted to take it so I tried to finish it but obviously I CANT, I HAVE NO TIME.
I even made a script for the last chapter:

Seeing as to how they could not control Wrath, the 4 remaining Agony Scions decided to control a human called David and sent him to kill Sharlene.
David gets teleported to the room where Sharlene is laying on the floor unconscious. He wonders how he got there and starts thinking about how to get out before getting interrupted by a voice in his head (the Scions) telling him to kill Sharlene. He grabs his gun and points at her as she regains her composure. Right before he shoots, Sharlene teleports herself to the Realm of Hil, awaking her innate powers. Silent Song proceeds to talk to her and tells her that he gained access to the Darktongue Codex and read all the sacred tomes thanks to Terror Skull. Wrath and Neve are alive, everything that happened in AZN's chapter was naught but a trick devised by them in order to force Sharlene to recover her innate powers. Silent gives Sharlene access to the tomes and explains that the Dread King has been reborn and is fighting Ae-Ledt in a battle that threatens all existence. With her new powers and having read the tomes, Sharlene swears to stop them. The party sets out and heads into their final battle, a battle to stop these demons from destroying the worlds. That would be the last fight, after that you're free to do whatever you want with the ending.

So you say not to rely on me but I was the only one that actually touched the game at all... Personally, I think we should just leave the game as it is and leave the ending for open interpretation. Everyone can make up their own endings just like I did above.

PS: The credits were done by Erave, remove my name from that map. I put my name in there because I was going to finish them, but obviously I didn't.

No, I have not worked on the final chapter. I polished everything that's done to perfection. I did some work for a final chapter about a month ago but now... I simple don't have the time. I'm taking 18 credits this semester and even if I wasn't, I think I can't even look at RM2k3 anymore. I passed the game to Massy2k6 but he got the curse too, he can't work on it. I passed it to Erave in case he decides to do something with it.

I'm tempted to JUST RELEASE IT ALREADY without an ending.
I sent it to Erave just in case he wants to do something.
It is sad that I used my time in fixing everything (and fuck there was a lot to fix) but that's how it is... At least it is going to be a VERY polished game.
A last and desperate option is to insert all the closing dialogue (no mimigames) and make the final battle with the default CBS, just try to make it as fun as possible. At this point, anything will do.

Omg who wants to finish the last chapter? I have no time period. I can't get myself to finish it AT ALL. I have written everything you need to know in a text document and I have written the plot for the last chapter.
The way I see it, there's 3 options:
1. I finish the game story-wise asap. No mini-games in the last chapter.
2. Someone else finishes it.
3. Wait even longer, I have a break from the 24th to the 9th.

I fixed even more.
I just want a beta tester because that's going to motivate me to finish even quicker. There's not much left to do really but actually DOING it is the killer. I have guitar lessons, boxing and regular classes now, unlike when I first started the last chapter. If only the freakin charger wouldn't have died... I used to work on this 24/7 now I can barely look at RM2k3. Give me some motivation (or just SLAP me in the face).

I'm here! Don't panic! It's true that this game is cursed, no doubt about it. I was lucky that my father went to New York for 2 weeks, I could order my charger to be delivered there. (I'm currently in summer vacations at the Dominican Republic, an island in the Caribbean, they would charge me like 80 dollars to take the charger I ordered out of customs so I had it returned)
I'm getting back to working on this thing... Beta testing positions are still open if anyone wants to cooperate and look at all the progress that has been made.

I've hit another road block, seems like this game is cursed or something... My laptop's charger died last thursday. I've already ordered a new one. It should be here tomorrow. I'm writing this from my friend's computer. Hey im_so_tired you can try another one if you'd like. I'm probably not using one from the pack.
