It's funny but I've been playing Uncharted 3 lately, and despite moments of great dialogue and action, a lot of the structure and writing seems really... amateurish. Maybe it's a byproduct of getting old, but video game tropes really stand out to me now and they're quite grating. It crossed my mind that "wow, maybe Uncharted 3 had some people from GW working on it, because I'd expect to find some of this stuff in an RPGMaker 2000 game, not a AAA professional title."
Moral of the story: be a better video game maker and really exercise that creativity muscle, man.
