Went to Fan Expo yesterday, in a half-assed guardian costume.

Ran into this guy with an awesome Dr Horrible costume.

Also Domo-Kun. (I'm holding a Domo-Kun key chain but you can't really see it)

Since it's kinda slow here...was anyone else at Fan Expo in Toronto this year? Any stories + pics + anything interesting?

I went on Saturday as a guardian from ReBoot, and might have seen you there.

When I'm drunk I can speak fluent French and recite Lieder. When I'm sobre, I can't.

Yeah I think I'll do that. That's what I get for buying the game instead of getting the torrent -___-.

Just bought Fable LC for PC at EB Games. Checked it out on systemrequirementslab.com, and it said I should be able to run it.

It's been kind of weird, because first of all, the product key that came in the game was invalid, so I had to go online to find one that would work.

Next, when I tried to start it, it gave me an error that "windows cannot find splash.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

So I searched online and it said if you just click "okay," it shouldn't make a difference, but once I do, I get the error

"Runtime Error!

Program: C:\ ... Fable.exe

This Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"

I tried searching, but the only answer I could find was that the graphics card isn't good enough, but my graphics card SHOULD be compatible with the game. Did anyone else have these problems? (I find it fishy that the product key didn't work).

I always thought it was because watermelon was just popular in the south with everyone but for some reason just became associated with a stereotype. Maybe when people moved north?

If you guys are uni students you can go to the ROM for free in the early evening on Tuesday. But as for night...there's plenty of good places for dinner or drinks. The Elephant and Castle in St. Andrew's is great. I know a good karaoke bar but it's further north (near Wilson station) but the mood there's great (the food not so much). There's good clubbing on Queen West, but I'm not sure about Tuesdays so you should probably check...it really depends on what you're into.
I just checked online- the Jays are playing the Red Sox that evening, so if you're a baseball fan you could do that too.

Chickens are pretty smart animals, though. Don't have a source on that, but I've heard it from a lot of people. Maybe it's just a rumour.

But yeah, this whole chicken in the cages thing is right. They should be in bigger cages. When you keep them all together (besides what Steel mentioned) they also fight. So on the way to the slaughterhouse, they're getting scratched up and their eyes pecked out, and a number of horrible things even before they're going to get killed. That in itself is torture. Not to mention the loss of profit from already dead chickens and the possibility of disease and infection.

Sounds good.  I'm okay any time, but if we want to make it worth it we should prob. meet some time before evening.

To get to Dumpling house, go to Dundas Station (Dundas and Yonge) and take the street car west to Spadina. Walk north on Spadina (North is away from Dragon City, without passing it. The restaurant is on the west side). It's a small looking place easy to miss, but there should be people making dumplings in the window.

Here's a map in case you're still lost

What about when people bake brownies or muffins with pot?
