Silent Hill 3. I found a bulletproof vest, used a health bottle and proceeded to go on my merry way... Out of the nowhere, something hits me and just like that I got a GO. Wth.

I haven't decided whether Heather is slightly humorous or annoying yet.

Male or Female?: Male
Child, Adult, Elder?: Adult
Human, Velesian (talking wolf), Demigod, talking statue or plant, animal, fiend, etc?: Fiend
Personality? (corny sense of humor, bitter, sad, hyper, crazy, etc): Narcissistic and sarcastic, but also calculating, strategic and intelligent
Quirks? (are they eating their own face?): His human-like features make him pretty for a hell-spawn, but he looks like the stereotypical image of what the "devil" looks like, except a younger, 25-year old version, and he's dressed in a business suit and carries himself professionally.
Additional Details?:: He doesn't have an accent
Idea for interaction (optional)?: No clue, haha.

Kinda sorta. A certain goddess who went through a huge character-rape wanted to change the outcome of her future (her death) by erasing a key moment in her past, one that would've changed not just life her life, but the lives of pretty much everyone she knew. However, doing a spell like that, even for someone of her status, is a risky business because messing with time almost never works, but she thought she could handle it anyway because -- hey, I'm she's goddess, she can do anything right???

Needless to say, it didn't work out the way she hoped it would, and instead it caused a huge time and dimensional shift, basically causing separate worlds and timelines to "bleed" into one another thus creating this new, huge hot mess dimension called "Nowhere," and our heroes have to fight to return things to normal (although Buffy has amnesia, and has no recollection of anything about herself--she only knew her name because a certain horror movie icon sent her threatening text message after she woke up in Nowhere).

That's what the basic storyline I have now anyways. The game is only 26 days old, so anything can change.

Not at all. I wouldn't say that I am "thankful." I do wish things had happened differently. I was 14 when Don translated the program, and I didn't know it was actually illegal until a year or two after I already had it (I got it from a friend at the time, make of that what you will).

Graphics aside, I still happen to find the game enjoyable. FF7 is not my absolute favorite in the series by any means, but I honestly don't feel that any other game in the series can compare to it. It's in a different league.

The whole situation is bizarre. If Don didn't do what he did, I also don't believe that EB would've released any of the other versions. I'm not sure how much of a profit EB made from XP and VX, but both of them seem to be incredibly popular (I plan to buy VX next week when my trail ends). Still... piracy of any sort is wrong, wrong, wrong.

I don't know what I'm trying to say, here.

I agree, I wouldn't call it the best EVER, but it was an incredibly important game that needed to have been made. 90% of RPGs circa 1997 onward owes something to FF7. I'm not a fanboy in the least, but that's just the truth. Those elements have become so conventional now that people don't realize it.

Because when FF7 came out he was considered to be new and interesting. For better or worse, Cloud set the template for characters of that type.

When I had FF7, I absolutely loved it. Not to sound like a fanboy, but I don't think it's fair to judge the game using today's standards, as a hell of lot has changed since 1997.  No, it hasn't aged the best, but in my humble opinion, not many RPGs were on the level FF7 was when it debuted. It didn't sell 10 million copies for nothing.
