by the way man did you ever play that final fantasy 10 romhack of final fantasy 3??? still have a link???
I don't think it was a romhack per se, plus the only versions that were circulated were poorly made showing only an olive screen with a bunch of characters closely resembling the FFX cast moving about in the same manner as the "This... This is my story..." introduction scene.

Oh there was also another version(not a rom for some reason, this one was a windows executable) where you couldn't start a new game and the only saved game which you could load took you to an island where the only thing you could do was move around and bump on the occasional non-operational spaceship. Neither versions had any written(OR SPOKEN) dialogue.

Yeah, anyone heard anything about this? I kind of lost track after the creator's site went offline for whatever reason.

I don't see why they didn't just finish the last 2% and let it OOPS LEAK onto utorrent or something. People will actually play this, and square does not have a solid case against it's creators when they're not seeking money for the game (or weren't responsible for it's leak!). Just throw the rom on a shit security http folder and let the internet do the rest.

I remember once seeing a fangame made to look and feel exactly like the NES Mega Man games (no, it wasn't the new Mega Man 9, although it might have been called exactly that; it was for PC). I wish I still had it.
Do you mean the Megaman 7 FC or whatever which was a NESsy demake of Megaman 7?
