State Of Play (2003)

I just finished watching this British tv series (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362192/) and woooo it was great. If you like thrillers and murder mystery kind of things I would really suggest checking this out. It's a little bit like law and order or csi but... way better. There are six 1 hour episodes so it's not too long. The way the story unfolds always leaves you guessing and listening for the next bit. The characters are all really interesting and more complex than most thriller or murder mystery characters, plus the acting is spot on. I don't want to give anything away so here's the synopsis from IMDB: "A thriller set in London, in which a politician's life becomes increasingly complex as his research assistant is found dead on the London Underground and, in a seemingly unrelated incident, a teenage drug dealer is shot dead."

Anyway, it's worth checking out.

yeah, but i heard it was awful. based on most american movies right now, i'll say that the show is much better than the movie. it would be impossible to pack 6 hours worth of information into a 2 hour movie.
