when i hear casio i think keyboards. but i don't think casio when i hear keyboards. i forgot casio made other things although i remember seeing their cameras now that it's been mentioned. and calculators, but i can barely remember what a casio watch looks like.

pretty much this, except i forgot calculators...

i associate casio with keyboards, but not the other way around, if i had to associate any brand with keyboards it would probably be yamaha or something

still, i would not think watches until someone else brought it up (well i guess i will from now on just because of this conversation)

nah you can't really associate any brand with keyboards because

a) there are so many of them
b) there is no "dominant" keyboard brand that would really be a replacement for them

ala Xerox however, is big enough for its brand name to have replaced "copier machine" but this same is not true for keyboards, especially since keyboards aren't something that large number of people use on a daily basis whereas many people in an office use the copier machine/xerox everyday

so in short rangar is a dumb dumb

Just throwin' in that I grew up with Casio calculators all the way through school, so that's what I think of when people say Casio. I knew vaguely about keyboards, but watches? I had no idea.

here as you can see Casio is also a more widely varied brand than Xerox so there is another reason that they cannot be synomisis with keyboards let alone a single product because they make more than one product

well that is why i said if i HAD to, yamaha is the only brand i could come up with for that but like you said there is no dominant keyboard brand

yeah but there's like three different options (timmy get off the nintendo/playstation/xbox, maybe if they're more out of touch THE SEGA but even still that's just four)

there are so many keyboard manufacturers that no one is synonymous with keyboards

also even though sony and microsoft are known for a lot of things, playstation and xbox are the words that stick, and all of those are video games...whereas casio and yamaha and those are not known for just one thing so it would be like calling tvs "samsungs"

at my school only like two or three people used casio calculators, everyone else had ti, which were probably less powerful but from what i gather a lot more user friendly.

also i do think casio anytime i hear really cheesy keyboard music like little jimmy in his basement with his casio

i agree with this 100%. lets not talk about it anymore. this topic is about bins/dumpsters.

I am very surprised so many of you have looked through dumpsters before. This has never crossed my mind as a potential GOOD IDEA but apparently outside of supermarkets/large electronic stores is the place to go for free shit. good to know.

btw i'm assuming it is illegal to take shit out of a dumpster if it is on a business's property??? y/n? i'm guessing no one cares

I really can't imagine some weird old bum guy saying PENTIUM 2 PROCESSOR

not saying that being a computer nerd is the opposite of being crazy it just sounds so technical for a bum to say

wait was he like a homeless guy or was he just some dude who happened to be old and crazy

he was just some homeless-ly dressed old crazy man, who is probably someone who walks around the city looking for dumpsters to take things from and sell. He might be homeless, I'm not sure it does say PENTIUM II on the processor so... doesn't take much to figure out which processor you're looking for.

Interestingly enough, fast food used oil has suddenly become like gold around here and now chains are putting in extra measures when disposing of their used oil.

Try Walmart and see what you can find, or go to Home Depot and try to find a good bolt cutter (I think I got it right) for those pesky locks.
A tool is a tool regardless. I mean if you suck, you suck, and not even the most perfect tool could save you. And if your damn good then even with the worst tool ever conceived you could chug out some high quality shit.

Thats because used cooking oil can be used as fuel for diesel engines just need to cleen the impurities in it by filtering.

Why is it illegal? Aside from the being on the property thing.

Uh, isn't that enough???

It depends on where you live (it's illegal in most places but some just don't plain care), but in a lot of places the contents of a dumpster are considered the property of the dumpster owner.  It doesn't matter that it's being thrown out anyway, it's still technically stealing.  You're only likely to get in trouble for trespassing for doing it, unless you steal something that is worth something (the example of this I found was someone who found customer lists in a dumpster).

But yeah I don't know why you don't see why this is illegal!  It's pretty blatant trespassing and stealing, the only difference is that most people don't give a shit that you're stealing it since it's going to be thrown out.  Them not caring doesn't make it less illegal.  Have you ever thrown something important away on accident and had to go look through the trash for it?  That's the biggest reason I wouldn't want someone going through my trash.
