I'm trying to play Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones on the PS2 but the game keeps freezing up on me. I just bought the game used at EB, and the disc doesn't appear scratched.. and the freeze always occurs at the same spot. Has anyone heard of this happening before? It already happened to me earlier in the game (right after I fought with the 3 soldiers together and attempted to walk into the castle) but it eventually just went back to normal after being frozen for about 20 seconds. Its as if the game is trying to load the next environment but is hanging for some reason. Anyone know what's up with that or anyway to fix it? Or should I just return the game?

In the meanwhile, I've also started KH2 since I've beaten the first one a long time ago and have been waiting for the price of this to drop (plus I'm excited about Stitch and Tron). I know.. lol.

It basically gives DX a new set of textures and renderer. I might give it a try ;D

yeah it is pretty good but it only covers the structural parts of the levels, none of the objects or characters so it's only really cool when you are looking at walls/tables/whatever doesn't move up close. there is an project for the objects part of it called HDTP that you can download a demo for but it's been sitting on that demo for like 3 years so it isn't looking like it is going to get finished. i'm not sure if you can combine the two of these mods, but i can't think of any obvious reason why not. if you do, then i guess like 50-60% of the game is upgraded graphically. it's only really worth it if you're a big fan who has played the game a bunch of times and just wants something new the next time you give it a play through.

Do Beyond Good and Evil afterwards. Such a classic.

The thing I don't like about the MP3 screens:

1) He's a baldy
2) It's set in some favela (Fuck MW2)
3) All currently available screenshots don't look the least bit noir.
