I don't know whether to get F1 2010 or wait for GT5. It's not long now. The amount of time I have to play games is decreasing rapidly so I can only really buy one game this semester and I don't know what it's to be. Here's my shortlist though:

Fifa 11,
Fallout New Vegas,
F1 2010,
Gran Turismo 5.

Fallout will take the most time out of all of those. GT5 and FIFA will have some good multiplayer options for when my bro comes over.

Another thing is that whilst some people have a total boner for the new Fallout game I am pretty content to wait for the GOTY edition to come out with all the DLC and not have to worry about being royally ripped off in future just because I decided to purchase on day one. That's just a really bad way of treating your customers imo.

I am secretly waiting for Naughty Bear to come down to £5. I went in Game (the shop) the other day and I noticed that Kane and Lynch 2 is so poor that it's £19 now and Naughty Bear is still £25. I wonder what the budgets of the two games were.

My only 2 games on my wishlist for this year are Fallout and Gran Turismo and if either of them are anything like the previous games, they will keep me busy for at least 6months+.

Blazblue CS
Fallout new vegas
Cod:BO
all good awesome thing is continium shift comes out at relese for 50 bucks cheaper then most other games.

Welp, I wouldn't know what to recommend since I have not played any of them of course.

Fallout 3 is proven good fun. So New Vegas will likely AT LEAST reach about the same level of fun.

Codemasters racing games are pretty fucking good If the 20 or so hours I played of DiRT is any indication.

If you liked the Gran Turismo 5 preview you could get that. I have never actually played a Gran Turismo game, but I know there is a whole mess of people who think all of Gran Turismo is godly and can do no wrong. Well... except the PSP title.

I have utterly no opinion on FIFA since I've never played a soccer game before.

So my personal number 1 choice would be Fallout: New Vegas, Then F1 2010.

Still playing Blood Money BTW. It's still pretty damn good.

Has anyone ever played Grandia? It's 10 dollars on the PSN and I'm kind of sick of FF12 at the moment so I'm thinking of grabbing this or Wild Arms 1 or 2 which are only 6 bucks.

I really like FF12 but I think it's pretty obvious Vaan was just kind of thrown into the lead role for no apparent reason (unless after 40+ hours he stops being such a backseat character). I think they could of easily thrown a 4th party member in there and the battle system wouldn't of been any more complicated even with the 5th guest every once in awhile. The combat is just kind of boring now and I'm not to fond with the cast of characters. I mean you are in this world full of moogles and lizard men and bunny people and tiger people and they fill your party up with 5 humes and then Fran who is kind of dull.

I do like the plot so far and the music is pretty amazing in some parts of the game. Combat is okay but the license board is a little simplistic for my tastes.

Grandia and Wild Arms 1 and 2 all rock, get them all. Grandia is probably the best of them and WA1 is better than WA2 but they're all great games if you dig traditional jrpg's.

Grandia and Wild ARMs 1 are my absolute favourite RPGs of all time. Get them both! Wild ARMs 2 is pretty good but not quite. Grandia has this really fantastic sense of ADVENTURE and ADVENTURING and it's really exciting, and imo it hasn't really been replicated since.
