Screwing around with a few things on PSP now that I can get isos to run on my 3000, namely Peace Walker and Persona 3 Portable.  Still screwing around with Black Ops on 360.  Chances are, once I hit Prestige 1, I'll start playing Persona 4 again.

Wait the PSP 3000 has been debunked is this because of the breakthrough with the PS3?

Yeah, I'm guessing because they found the PSP "master keys" through the PS3.  They've made utilities that can sign homebrew applications so you can boot them without custom firmware now.  HEN can be run from the XMB on 3000s/GOs and everything else (including isos) can also be run.  It's been a great year so far for the PSP scene.

Ive been trying to do this for months now, how did you do it? I can only run homebrew and plugins through an exploit. My psp's ofw 6.22 iirc.

It's pretty simple, to be perfectly honest.  Check pspslimhacks (google it) for everything you need.  Downgraders are also on the site, and it seems that 6.20 is the recommended official firmware to work with HEN TN-C to work with homebrew/other stuff.

I've been on a RTS binge lately. Been playing Warcraft III and Soulstorm mostly, which are probably the two best games of the genre in my opinion. It's also a little disappointing that these two games will never see proper sequels, Blizzard pretty much ruining any chances of Warcraft 4 with WoW and Dawn of War 2 focusing more on squad based gameplay rather than larger battles.

There's a couple decent games that are similar to WC3 like Dragonshard, but it focuses more on the RPG aspect and lacks in the strategy department. I can't think of any game that's like dawn of war (large scale battles with a heavy focus on squad development) but I do enjoy the sequel and I'm looking forward to Retribution.

But I think Warcraft III will probably always be my favorite, the perfect blend of strategy and rpg elements. I really wish they would update the game to support widescreen and maybe even move it over to bnet 2.0 because I doubt they will ever make a sequel for it, which is ridiculous but hey MMOs make more money!

Getting back into RuneScape since I applied for a job there for next year. Unlikely to get it (3/52 chance) but it would be nice. Uh, Wilderness and free trade coming back, but I never considered RS a bad game anyway regardless of what everyone says. If you're a member, that is.

Currently playing Dungeons of Daemonheim which is a cool concept but a bit silly.

Going on something of an RPG binge (pretty sure that's what I'm always on though) with Oblivion, and then Dragon Age: Origins (in preparation for DA2) and then Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind in preparation for Skyrim.

I just had to run a google search on Skyrim you just mentioned Dr.Ears because I've not heard of it until now.

Now I have to ask myself how the hell did I not know about this.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised you didn't know about it. Read all the shit on it at the game informer site. It's looking fucking fantastic.

new vegas: I made the deadly mistake of taking a companion in and out of gomorrah and now she can only fight with her fists. has anyone heard of a console code to get an npc to equip something/some other way to fix this bug? idk probably not but the only other companion I've got is boone and I hate his guts.

Beat Chaser. Ending was pretty retarded, like the rest of the story. The main plus for this game is that it had a large variety of environments to shoot people in. The biggest negative is the painfully awful jumping puzzles and linear maze like levels.

Everything else about it was mediocre.

Games on my immediate to play list:
AVP Classic
Aquaria
Bully
Frontlines: Fuel of War
Lugaru HD
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

Which one to play next *scratches chin*
