Manhunt for the PS2! Funny enough I played and completed Manhunt 2 before the first game.

Still playing Persona 4, finally beat that SoB at the end of the Heaven dungeon, but got back into playing DW5 and have cleared all of Shu and started on Wu. Breezing through characters because of the power of items I've picked up from playing - a +18 atk Tiger Amulet really helps when playing a new character.

I have been playing quite a bit of Thief - Deadly Shadows and Battlefield 2142.
Not exactly the best games in history, I know, but damn I have a lot of fun with them.

Oh, and some semi-translated pirated fun with Pokemon HeartGold. It's pretty awesome.

I have to say I'm kinda waiting for Pokemon HeartGold.

As a kid I always tried playing pokemon and all that, but rarely got the chance to, and when I  got older and got the chance to, I just realized it wasn't very fun

However, I tried playing Pokemon Platinum that one time, and god I got addicted to it (even though when I found myself grinding, I cheated to speed up the process; nevertheless, all it did was remove a few hours of repetition from my gameplay time) and I have to say it was the best pokemon game I'd ever played

And I suppose HeartGold follows in that vein, and from what I recall anyway, Silver/Crystal/Whatthefuckever were pretty big and amazing pokemon games. Like you had silver's entire world, then you also had access to the world from Red/Green/Blue/Yellow. I don't know, I kinda want to try it out too when it's out in english.

I tried Braid today for the first time. Its pretty fun. And some of the puzzles are really hard.

I also tried Gish and was a little disappointed at how difficult it is to control Gish. I was not playing it right maybe? I'm going to keep trying though.

Everyday Shooter is OK, though a tad simplistic. Like simplistic on the level of a flash game.

I still got a few more Indie games to try. but I'll stick with these till I finish them.

Also I'm tempted to buy Garry's Mod on Steam. Cuz its only 5 bucks this week.

Alyx Vance

She is the most annoying NPC in the history of the acronym.

Have you ever played a video game other than this one? Alyx is much more useful than most NPCs and the dichotomy between her go get 'em attitude and the role of the player as the reluctant hero is amazing fleshed out. Try playing Morrowind or Oblivion. That will teach you what an annoying NPC is like. Especially Morrowind. Pretty much every game I have ever played has had more annoying NPCs than Alyx Vance.

One thing I'm noticing with all the Indie games I bought in that pack is that they all have little to no replay value. Which kinds bums me out. and that they are kind of short... though the time I've spent playing them has been fun, j7ust sad to find that it'll be a especially short time.

Then again I notice a lot of big commercial games are getting pretty short too.

Edit: also, Alyx Vance is a pretty cool character in my opinion she doesn't really annoy me or anything like in other games where the AI will jump out right in front of me while I'm firing.

Also She isn't a typical SPACE MARINE character... then again I don't mind the typical space marine character as long has he has some background and personality.

man gold and silver BLEW MY MIND, even moreso because i was playing it untranslated on an emulator. i was really hanging out for a gba remake because i think pokemon games are suited for the micro. do they really take advantage of the FULL POWER of the ds or do you get longer battery life or something?

They don't really use the ds features other than like, giving you silly apps you can use on the lower screen or giving you the ability to handle fights faster using the lower screen as a command menu and choosing by touching

but it's just that, imo, the ds games somehow end up having better design than previous pokemon games

i mean it managed to keep me interested until i beat it, it must be better than the other ones

I bought my DS solely for Diamonds and Pearls. HeartGold and Soul Silver excite me very much because Pokemon Gold/Silver are definitely the best Pokemon Game/s. I just hope they manage to capture the CHARM of the original.

Still playing Eternal Sonata, still enjoying it. Something severely wrong with me obviously.
