I started Armored Core 5 a few days ago at frist I was put off by it since it dose a few things new and get rid of some of the others like just flying up by using boost instead they have you kicking off walls to gain height. bit odd but here is my frist let's play on the bottom there.

Actually yesterday I was screwing around with Legend of Princess.  Not bad.

..... or maybe not, Fun but confusing and a little odd.

1.2.4 minecraft has been very stable in comparison to the last couple of versions for me for some reason so I'm playing it again.

Started a new Fallout 1 playthrough (third playthrough). Went for a melee/sneaky build. This game is like fucking crack to me. I started playing at like 10 and then the next time I looked at the clock it was 3 in the morning. I started this afternoon and I'm already about halfway done.

New Vegas is great and all, but you can't strategically super sledge a dude in the groin in the Mojave Wasteland.

OR kill your followers over and over again using a flamethrower!

I don't think there's enough flamethrower ammo in the whole of Fallout 3 to even wound dogmeat ;_;

Everyone is killable in New Vegas, and the story can still progress after major characters are killed. That's why Obsidian are better developers than Bethesda.

That is good times. However, in Fallout 1/2, all it takes is one misdirected flamethrower blast to end up with a charred corpse of a follower. Like it happens a shitload. I don't even remember using the flamethrower in New Vegas, but in Fallout 3 I devoted a lot of time to taking Dogmeat down for some reason - fucking ridiculously hard to kill.

Anyone know why this was? Like that's the point of having a fucking perk slot devoted to replacing dogmeat when he's practically invincible??

I beat Fallout 1 again. 2 days is a personal record for me. My ending told me I screwed virtually everyone over except Gizmo, the NCR and the Raiders, so easily the worst ending I've gotten. I'm also mildly dissapointed that it wouldn't let me aim for the Overseer's dick with a plasma rifle at the end, but I just blew him away normally instead. This was the first time I killed the overseer at the end, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people didn't know you could do that since I only found out after reading an interview with Tim Cain. I think it kind of kills the mood but if you're going to do the same thing every time why replay it? Still easily one of my favorite games.

EDIT: Faust, when I had Dogmeat in Fallout 3 he walked into a crossfire of like 4 mutants and got killed right away.

Haha no way? That must have been before the Broken Steel expansion right? That expansion pretty much made him un-killable.

If it was after that explanation then I can't explain it. You can pretty much kick back and let dogmeat take everything down after BS is installed. Like I say, I once tried to kill him myself at level 30 and, after multiple tries, I did manage to succeed, but it took a LONG time, even with my high stats and guns/explosives maxed out. It expended the vast majority of my huge swathes of ammo too.

Even if he does go down, compare him to dogmeat in Fallout 1 - you can't even GET to the end of that game with dogmeat in tact unless you use a kind of glitch door trick - he's definitely destined to die. ESPECIALLY if you flamethrower XD!

PS: You sided with GIZMO? That is pretty rad.

I bought Mass Effect 3 and played 5 hours of it. Then I got the high resolution patch for Command and Conquer 95 and I've been playing that religiously since. It's a completely new game when you get the hi-res. Still love it to bits.

Hilariously Bioware are making the next C&C. I have no idea what is going to become of this. Pretty sure the whole series nose-dived after Red Alert 2.

How is Mass Effect's combat and leveling?

I'm finding Metal Gear Solid 4 to be pretty difficult and I'm only on the second act. (there are 5 acts)

I also got my ass kicked in Minecraft recently. lost some diamond armor. Fucker jumped me near the spawn.

Yeah, I don't think I had Broken Steel installed by that point, so maybe that was it.

And previously I always sided with Killian because he was like... not a creepy evil old man, but to keep things fresh I thought I'd go with Gizmo. It's not really beneficial as it makes everyone in town pretty much hate you and you can't use the general store anymore but his little vignette at the end is kind of funny.

Chest high walls, simple.

You could buy 5 copies of every Command and Conquer up to Generals: Zero hour for the price of Mass Effect 3. I don't know why I bother. What compelled me to day one purchase that game? I don't think I've been satisfied by a day one purchase since Uncharted 2.

i reinstalled diablo 2 recently to play through the giant eastern sun overhaul for it.  the amount of shit to collect and craft in that game is insane, but it's keeping me entertained in short 1 hour bursts between fantasizing about death and writing papers.

Is this that little "demo" thing that someone made that was like a super-stylized Legend of Zelda type deal? I have that saved here on my work computer and play it every now and then, it's really decent and I wish it'd be fleshed out into a full game, it'd be really fun, especially if it was on consoles too.

Also, I watched some Starcraft 2 matches over the weekend. I've never really watched them before but seeing "pros" play with commentary is pretty interesting. I never really got into Starcraft and every time I've tried I guess I get overwhelmed with the amount of stuff to learn and never really progress. It's a game I'd really like to get good at but I never really gave it a shot. Watching people play is cool, though. I feel like Protoss is overpowered or like, noobish for some reason. I have no opinion really because I've never played it but if I did I think I would either be a Zerg or Terran guy.

But yeah Starcraft 2 is a game I wish I played but I think I just like it more "in theory" than I ever did in practice. I actually don't really like any RTS games, the only one I ever really played a lot was Age of Empires 2, and that was a pretty dope game but I was just absolutely terrible against humans or computers higher than "Easy". It's a genre that I really like in theory but in practice I'm not good at and so I never play them.
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?
