I beat MGS4. I liked it a lot gameplay-wise and I'm the type that doesn't mind a long cut-scene (or hours worth of cut-scenes). But to be honest the story was just OK. I can't help but feel that the only reason it was just OK though was the cheesy and occasionally awkward dialogue making it really hard to follow or take seriously. The story was better in the first 2 games by far. I'd go into more detail other than the dialogue but I don't want to spoil the game for you guys.
***SORT OF SPOILERS*** But I thought the ending (and yes I saw all of it, even the post credits audio) was kind of anti-climatic and mildly depressing.

The next game I decided to give my borthers original Xbox a little attention and play Red Dead Revolver. Which after about 30 minutes I got really bored. The game is painfully repetitive and kind of shallow arcade shooter. Not necessarily because of it aging poorly (it didn't) but overall it felt very lack luster. The game is pretty much
1) short 1-2 second cut-scene
2) you are restrained to a small combat area and have to kill waves of wild west criminals.
3) buy stuff at menu shop for the next encounter
4) repeat.
And the AI is pretty retarded. And there was this boss fight that was ridiculously unbalanced very early in the game, this big guy that moves about 200% your speed that rushes you and causes explosive damage on contact that took about 1/4 of you life each hit and he seemed to be made of near-invincible meat. The only way I was able to kill him was finding a high location where he couldn't reach me and just sniped him to death as he ran around in circles. This went on for 15 minutes straight before he died, and I basically used my entire stock of ammo to do so.
So yeah, not so great work there Rockstar. I'll have to just jump to Red Dead Redemption when I have the money to buy it.

I then tried Kill.Switch, liked the little that I played but then found out its on PC so I'll just play it on there.

Now I'm not sure what to play. I'm thinking Project Gotham Racing, since I loved that game and It's been a while since I'm played a racing game. but I got to wait for my brother to be around so I can transfer it to the xbox from his PC. So now I just twiddling my thumbs, not knowing if I should just start up another game or just wait.
EDIT: Decided to not wait, playing MechAssault, anyone else play it? Its an awesome game.
