I never really cared much about the story but I still liked it a lot more than either of those dumb games. It's been years since I played it tho and I remember the episodes pretty much being 'you got a girl in your car!!!

' I don't really play shooters but the platforming was really solid, the engine in general was just really solid. I mean I should know, having spent high school doing all this tedious platforming shit in Deathmatch and making my own maps where the main attraction was platforming onto rooftops and exploring

I'm sorta trying to play planescape torment but it's so boring

Anyone got a Fallout 3 savegame just before you leave Vault 101? I tried googling one and failed and I am so not going through that bs intro again.

COD 4 had a decent story (bit cliche but good)... MW2 kind of ruined it though with giant plot holes...

Also, the original Halo's story pulled me through that game (and the gameplay) the story in Halo 2 did some things differently but they were kind of dumb. and Halo 3 didn't really do much in terms of story. And even it SORT OF ends in a cliffhanger (though not as obviously as 2 did). You read the books (yeah I know people bitch about having to read a book to get the story) and you can appreciate the story in the games a lot more. Though even with out the books I really liked the story, though this is just personal opinion.

Half Life series's story is pretty excellent overall though IMHO.

finally bought a wii from my friend for cheap. Now I'm playing Super Smash Bros Brawl. Went to buy another game and couldn't find anything worth the over-priced $50 value...
What games are good on wii? I mean... "$50 on wii instead of PS3" good.

If you haven't played Mario Galaxy, the first one, do that immediately. It's really, really amazing. Also Mario Kart Wii is my favorite Mario Kart, so pick that up if you like the series. Resident Evil 4 is pretty great for the Wii, too (and should be cheap).

There's really only 4 games worth buying for the Wii, and you already have one of them. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are pretty safe choices; if you can't like either of those games at all, you actually might not be a person. There's also Monster Hunter Tri, which is honestly probably the best game I've played in my entire life. I could type up a whole bunch of bullshit about why I love it so much, but this video encapsulates the Monster Hunter experience far better than I ever could using human language

Wiis are also notoriously easy to softmod, so you could always just do that and play whatever the heck you want if you don't mind voiding the warranty.

if you skip through the dialogue and just sprint to your destinations the intro goes by really fast

Yeah I'm playing alpha... its the only game mode I've tried. I haven't played creative mode.I'm using my brothers sign in.

I might actually buy this... but I've already been pushing my money a bit far with games. Then again... its only like 11 dollars according to my little brother. And I've also spent countless hours on it and the guy that is making it is continuously updating it. Seems worth it for when I leave that I get my own account.

Yeah I know that now. Didn't realize that then. I literally had just started the game. It was my first session. I had sat down and just never pressed escape. Building this bridge and a connecting road.

I understand how to build and stuff faster now so it took me significantly less time when I decided to try and make it again.
