Someone play Spiral Knights with Me! :<

I'll help someone out, like get ya a starting Armor or a Sword ( First person to actually PLAY with me from SW! )
Games pretty fun for a time killing dungeon crawling !

Join up on the game and send a friend Request to 'Aerfloe'     in a msg, say SW and your SW name. If we sync up online i can help ya out n we can do a few runs!

I got 1 IRL friend who plays but its rare we can sync up cause he is out west and works late (till about 4am my time) so we dont get to play often.

If I could get my old account back that had all my energy points i would. I realized I won't get my items back but i invest in the bata so it would give me back and then some of energy when that game came out..

beat Honest Hearts and Dead Money. found them disappointing in the same way I found new vegas disappointing: they feel incomplete, lacking a further iteration or next step in development. there are some great ideas behind both DLCs, but most of those ideas are never clearly expressed in-game, or they never show up in a way that is as fun and engaging as the developers must have imagined. the first 3/4 of Dead Money is roaming around nondescript identical Villa streets, with no way of telling where you're going or where you are unless you follow your compass. the concept they have, of a three-dimensional, traversable, abandoned amusement park-like streetscape is great, but in this manifestation it's super boring. honest hearts had a kinda neat location, but they could have done so much more with it. and the story of hh kinda just fizzles out once you meet Daniel, who is barely even a character. the whole thing with the father was kind of hackneyed and not quite handled with the same care as a game like Portal but I still had fun searching for the camps and reading the diary entries. really the only part of the story that was engaging at all

I do like the direction they've taken these DLCs tho, and I agree they're worth a DL if you fee like playing some more fallout. I'm still waiting for the Ultimate Fallout Experience from one of these DLCs. I'm a little excited for Lonesome Road, it seems like they'll be putting a lot of effort into that one

I'm getting towards the end of the main story and I really don't like how glitchy some of the quests are if you can put it that way.

I was trying to finish off the NCR questline with "For the Republic Part 2" where you have to go recruit or kill the Great Khans and I went there earlier before and got them to not join the legion but when I tried to go back theres no speech option to try to recruit them and I really don't want to kill them all. Thats the second time this has happened. I was doing the white glove society quest and rescued ted before I went to talk to the investigator because I talked the clerk guy into telling me about what they were doing with him. I escourted ted through the resturaunt and he won't leave it or follow me anymore so I can't finish that quest either.

so that shit sucks. I was gonna try to support the NCR through the whole thing but since I can't I've been going with Mr. House's plan and so far I really like his character and his motivation to save vegas and mankind, his character really reminds me of a cross between donald trump and steven hawking. Its pretty awesome.

My roommate got Portal 2 on the 360 and we played through the co-op campaign and I played through the single-player. It's pretty neat, I'm glad it's longer than #1, though it's still fairly short, I mean all you do is go from room to room solving puzzles so, I guess that's about all I expected. Seeing aperture labs from the 60s or whatever was a pretty cool touch. Actually im right at the end of the single player, I have like 3 or 4 rooms from wheatley then whatever happens at the end, i don't know that, but I did look up how many puzzle rooms were left and its only a couple. I played it for like 6 hours though so I got burned out. Neat game but not worth 60 bucks or wahtever, I'll probably buy it when its 30 or less, just to have it. My brother for instance hasn't played either Portal games.

you can get it new from amazon for 30$ right now, that's how i got it

I FINALLY bought Fallout 3 (game of the year edition so with expansions huzzah) today, alongside Arkham Asylum and Assassins' Creed. I didn't play Fallout Tactics beyond the first mission yet, but I just couldn't wait to play 3 ;_;!!!

I may be a few years behind the new hip trend, but fuck I'ma catch up someday!

PS: L.A. Noire gets a pass, I'ma get that in a couple of weeks as I'm not prepared to wait X years to buy it.
Hey hey hey

playing Resonance of Fate. I've been stuck on the first fucking boss for 2 hours now. The battle system doesn't make sense the way it does in other rpg games. Somehow I always endup reaching "condition critical" and my characters become panzies and start shivering and cant even attack. I've checked out a walkthrough and its still confusing as hell lol.

bosses are the hardest thing about the game whenever you can (witch you can't for the 1st boss) always duel-weld MG's and there attacks are key to wining battles also don't forget to leap in air at the end of a run  it gives you more time and a good spreed of damg. charge at least your first MG shot as much as you can then let it rip and then keep firing and hope for a knock up.. Handguns do the killing blows for the most part and for the 1st few boss battles you don't really need much charge/or at all. just run and fire away trying to hit every part that your MG hits.

also the reason you go in to that condition critical is because you ran out of a shards did you notice when you kill or destroy a enemy they drop shards . Using your special attack (running attacks) uses these shards  and (it's been a wail since I played) but some attacks can make you drop shards too. it's a good Idea to keep picking up shards wail your making your attack. Also you get a  item that can pull you out of condition critical but I would save them because you can't buy them and you only get a few i think.

worst case scenario you can under go the same RPG song and dance and  grind your weapon skill up (which will lv up your heroes which only gives more HP and the type of weapon skill get one more charge counter. it may not seem like a lot but charge shots are the bread and butter.)

Played some of this tonight: http://yfrog.com/h6oegmmvj

The graphics are very pretty. The menu is annoying but the gameplay immense. I'll post proper impressions soon.

I am not so good without my wheel.

Minecraft. Finally bothered to try multiplayer for the first time. playing on some random servers realized that the only one that's updated to the current version is laggy as hell. went back to single player.

I beat new vegas. I dunno what I was supposed to get at the end of it for playing hardcore mode but I don't think I got it. sucks you can't play after you beat the story either. Or atleast it wouldn't let me but I skipped the credits.

Now I'm playing Red Dead Redemption: UNDEAD NIGHTMARE, its pretty fun. I bought the seperate game before I came out its not the expansion version but I dunno if theres a difference. My favorite part so far is when you're riding the train into mexico and get stopped because of a road block then zombies jump up out of the ground and the US army dudes you're with run away. Its pretty fuckin' hilarious too, like they had some fun with it.

Pretty much every respectable Minecraft server relies on a plugin called Bukkit. Bukkit hasn't been updated for the newest version of Minecraft because the newest version of Minecraft is an unstable piece of shit. So most servers are down for the count at the moment.

mojang is just totally clueless. they stumbled upon a simple game that people want to play for some reason, and even after notch hired a bunch of his buddies they are still entirely unprepared for any sort of difficulty/routine customer service

I only have 3 shard slots. And the enemies are gone its just the boss himself. No matter how much shit i put into him he walks around and heals. I guess I'll just grind and lvl up before I attempt to face him again.

it probably has something to do with your strategy, then. the game has a pretty dramatic learning curve, but once you really get the hang of it you'll very rarely find any battle is impossible. i'd suggest just going to the arena and screwing around for a while there until the game starts making sense to you. specifically, you'll want to learn how to effectively perform a tri-attack, since that's literally what you'll do in every battle for the rest of the entire game. the game does a pretty poor job of making that clear, and a friend of mine who played it had more or less the same problem.

not a lot of people really agree with me, but i think resonance of fate is a pretty fun game when you really get into it. nothing is brilliant, or really that singularly worthwhile about it all, but it goes pretty far out of its way to be different from games of this nature. it's a strange experience.

I'm playin' fight night: champion and that game is fuckin' awesome. I really like the "Champion" story mode, you play Andre Bishop a black dude who starts out in the game as a convict fighting bare-fisted prison brawls against skin heads and then work your way back out of prison and to professional boxing. There is actually a part in the game where your prison trainer tells you to "Knock that cracka som'bitch out". Also all of the white skinheads look the same.

There are a lot of cool conditions that make the game fun. For instance in one part of the game you break your hand punching your opponent in the face during the first round so you're forced to use just one hand in order to finish the fight. And other fighters that specialize in a particular way of fighting like body shots or hooks, causing you to modify your way to approach your opponent or you get the shit knocked out of you. Right now I'm trying to KO the guy with my not broken hand and its pretty difficult.

Also the music rules

I know it sounds bad but I'm actually learning a lil bit about boxing approach from playin it. Like how to dig in and rib shot the fuck out of someone or stay outside and throw light jabs. Its a fun way to further familiarize myself with boxing without starting a fight with someone and possibly going to jail again :(

If that is what you want then have you perhaps heard of the manga called Hajime No Ippo? I think you should check it out, it's full of stuff about boxing details............

I barely used tri attacks in the begin of the game because they took too much shards. I beat the last and after game bosses too without the tri attack.
